Day 1 of Packer Princess's Journal

Ok, doing this for the September Challenge. Never been one to do a journal before, so this is new to me.

Starting weight for the SWC: 153
Goal: Loose 5 lbs and build strength (upper body)

B - egg beaters w/peppers, onions, steak & light laughing cow cheese
1 slice WW toast w/smart balance
2 cups 1/2 caf coffee w/ff half & half & splash of DaVinci Hazelnut

L - Salad w/1oz turkey, 1/2 hard boiled egg, scant trace of cheese
Light Ranch Dressing
1 slice WW bread

S - 1 Cup black grapes

D - Pork chop w/SB BBQ sauce
1 cup yellow/green beans
1 sm sweet potato w/1 Tbsp smart balance
1 slice WW bread

S - 6oz ff/sf yougurt

Water: 80 oz

Exercise: 30 min cardio (walk)
20 push ups

Will try to add a picture after I figure out how to work the timer on my camera!

Day 2
Today I tried on the outfit I bought to wear to Jamaica last spring. It didn't fit me then, tad too tight. It fits now, top fits well, bottoms are still a little snug on the tummy. Will try to get tummy in shape by January, so I can wear the outfit to visit mom in Florida.

Daily Menu

B - Fiber One w/1/2 banana & skim milk
Cheese Stick
V8
Coffee w/ff cream

S - 1 Dove square dark chocolate

L - Garden salad w/grilled chicken and some hard boiled egg, Ranch dressing
Bowl of Beef Barley soup
1 Sprite Zero

S - FF/SF Yogurt

D - Left over BBQ Pork chop
Cauliflower, carrots, cucumbers, tomato slices & grapes
Slice of WW bread

S - FF/SF Fudgebar

Exercise: 1 hour Curves (1/2 hour cardio, 1/2 hour strength)

Water: 70 - 80 oz

Day 3

Having a real rough time with my feet hurting during aerobics. Switching shoes, buying new shoes (twice) and ortho inserts doesn't help. I don't want to give it up, but I am getting real frustrated.

Todays Menu

B - 1% Cottage Cheese w/chopped tomato, 1/4 avocado & 1 tsp light Mayo, two cups of coffee w/ff cream & splash of sf DaVinci

S - Cheese Stick & grapes

L - 2 slices WW bread w/NPB & 3 stacker slices dill pickles
carrot sticks and cucumber slices

S - 15 dry roasted almonds (opps, forgot I had PB at lunch)

D - Veggie & cheese pizza on WW crust

S - Dairy & apple

Water: 72 oz

Exercise: 1 hour aerobics & 1 hour strength training

Wow! Your diet and exercise are looking good! Way to be a warrior, kick cheek, all that jazz. Glad to see you in the September challenge. Good luck meeting your goal for the month.
30 by 30! I am working on a 30 pound weightloss in time for my 30th birthday.

Today's Menu

B - 1% Cottage Cheese w/ 1 tsp light mayo, tomato & avocado, 2 cups coffee with ff cream and splash of sf Davinci hazelnut!

S - Cheese stick

L - Garden salad with grilled chicken & ff ranch dressing (didn't eat much, have killer headache)

S - Peach, slice whole grain bread with laughing cow spread

D - SB style Eggplant Parm, chicken soup

S - two advil (still have headache)

Water- 74 oz plus

Exercise: 1 hour Curves (1/2 hr cardio/ 1/2 hr strength)

Over slept by a 1/2 hour today. Breakfast will be on the run!

B - V8 & SB Meal replacement bar

S - Cheese stick and carrot sticks

L - refried beans and chicken/peppers/onions in fajita sauce

S - grapes

D - Left over chicken mixture, SantaFe rice (brown rice, peppers, black beans, trace of corn) & peach

S - ff/nsa fudge bar

Water - way over limit (always)

Exercise - 1 hour Curves (1/2 hr cardio, 1/2 hr strength)


Saturday 9/8

Daily Menu

Pre Breakfast - 2 cups coffee w/nf cream & splash of sf DaVinci

B - WW bread w/ 1 TBsp NPB, 1 cup milk

S/L - Cottage Cheese, 1 tsp may & dill weed & V8

S - Cheese stick & carrots, 2 Tsp Salsa & 5 Multi-grain chips (not 100% SB, but not a bad choice)

D - grilled chicken breast w/ onions,mushrooms,peppers and jack cheese, side garden salad w/ranch, steamed broc/carrots/zuc 2 large diet Sierra Mist (we ate at Applebees)


Water - 80 oz

Exercise - None other than house work, which is hard work, but not counted.

B - 2 cups Coffee w/ ff cream, 1 big cookie ( oatmeal, dairy, nut-added NPB, fruit & sweet treat- added dark chocolate chips)

This is in the recipe section on this site. Ok, I'm hungry now got to go eat that cookie!

L - WW crust veggie pizza

D - Salmon, veggies, ww rice/lentils

S - peach

Water - 80 oz so far

Exercise - golfed 9 holes

D - Baked chicken breast, leftover veggies

S - peach & milk

Water: 80
Exercise: 1/2 hour cardio & 1/2 hour strength (Curves)

I'm tired & just want to go to bed! Have queasy stomach, think it's due to not sleeping well last couple nights.

Wednesday 9/12

Ramblings

Slept much better last night. Missing workout classes today due to doctors appt. :evil: Will have to go for walk later and do some strength exercises! Not good at doing exercise later in day. Got to do it in the morning or not at all. Hope I can change that mindset!

Have to drink 32oz water by 9:30 this morn. and can't pee until after Ultra Sound at 10:30. Talk about torture! Hope she doesn't push hard or I might erupt like Old Faithful!

Menu

B - 1 egg, ff cheese, slice of deli ham, slice of ww toast & V8, 1 cup coffee w/ff cream....etc

S - 32 oz water!

L - Hamburger patty with tomato pesto, fresh basil, mozzerella on top of roast red pepper & green salad with grapes. Had to pick off sugared walnuts. 2 diet sprite sodas

S - Cheese stick, 2 squares dark chocolate, almonds

D - chicken breast, green beans, ww something

S - fruit & dairy

You are doing such a good job with eating veggies. I envy you, I'm not really big on veggies, all of mine have to be cooked some way. Good luck. :D

Ramblings: Hubby out of town for 4 days fishing! I can eat when I want, what I want and not watch sports 24/7!!

B - slice ww bread w/2 slices turkey

S - string cheese & sb crackers

L - turkey wrap, two slices cantaloupe, pea soup

S -

D - Chicken breast & raw veggies w/light ranch dressing

S - fruit, milk and probably some popcorn

Water - behind schedule on this, bottoms up! 70 oz (at least)
Exercise: 1/2 hour cardio, 1/2 hour strength (Curves)

more than the scale.

Friday 9/14 TGIF

Ramblings: I am less than enthused to go to Curves again. There's a girl who goes around the same time and really works up a sweat. Ok, that's a good thing, I do too, but.......I get grossed out when I see sweat puddles from her armpits on some of the machines. I have decided to skip those machines. Plus the two ladies she comes with decide they want to do the double back, which is go forward one machine then back one machine, etc......They expect me to skip over them so they can keep going! Now I do the double back when they have the tape in and when I do my third lap I move around people who are still doing it. It's just very frustrating - I hope they aren't there today!

My stomach is a little funny today. Ate popcorn last night that sometimes will do it. Could be the new med the doc gave me for my PMS, I'm blaming them for this headache in the center of my forehead and the dizziness. Oh well, that'll go away some day and losing my appetite - hey that's great!

The scale isn't moving downward anymore. I'm sure it has something to do with missing my killer workouts on Monday and Wednesday. I'll have to get out and walk this weekend. Maybe I'll push mow some of the yard, I'm sure I'll just sneeze afterwards and be miserable from all the mosquito bites I'll get! Got to keep from stalling and going up & down a pound.

Did not go to Curves today, pulled out a 30 min butt, gut & thigh DVD and did that. Legs feel like rubber!

Got test results for ultrasound. I don't have fibroids (good news) but I do have a cyst on my left ovary. Go back in 3 months for another round of fun. :oops:

L - bean soup (navy beans I think, ham, celery, onions in tomatoe base)
One enormous piece of white bread w/one pat of butter

S - milk & 2 dark chocolate squares

I am so impressed with the amount of water that you drink in a day. The most I have been doing is 72 oz. Most days I feel like I'm floating I can't imagine drinking another full bottle. And there are some days that I just need a diet coke. Way to go! It's so good for you.
