I added a mashed 1/2 banana into the mixture and then put it in the freezer for 30 minutes. AWESOME!

Yep, that's fine. The pb should be figured in on your daily allowance of that. It does not get counted in the 75 calorie sweet treat. This is yummy! I made it for dessert tonight too! :D

Make this in an ice-cream maker and it's even better!!! It comes out like soft-serve if you eat it as soon as it's done. If you return it to the freezer, it becomes ice cream. Great stuff!! I've been making it for quite a while now.

Look at the ingredients and see if they are sugar free. Also check the calories--you need to stay below 75 calories with the Cool Whip so you want a low calorie bar. I use Blue Bunny brand and they are only 25 calories each.

Fudgesicle Peanut Butter

Postby kba » Wed Jul 27, 2005 12:18 am

The treat sounds good but what if you do not like peanut butter. Is there something else that can be substituted?

OMG! These rock! Hubby and I absolutely adore them. It's funny, when I'm having a bad day, my hubby says, "Someone needs a peanut butter cup tonite!" He makes them for us. God, he's a saint! :D

I just made this for the first time, and I love it. One thing I did though, which I assume was a mistake, was I used salted peanut butter! But I like things less sweet, so it worked out well for me :D

I use Smuckers Chunky Natural Peanut Butter and it too is salted. I still use it. Ingredents: peanuts and salt

It is perfectly fine to have salt in it.

I made this last night and it is absolutely TO DIE FOR. It reminds me of my favorite Cold Stone Creamery ice cream. Cannot believe I am allowed to eat this on P1!

Thanks for the recipe!!! :D
