Good job Heidi-whatever works to subside those cravings. And they can get bad.

I'm having such a hard time getting my heart into phase 1 again. I came so close to eating like crap tonight. My DH kept saying, "Give me the cash, I'll go get something. You can blame it on me." And then he'd grin hugely. I almost gave in, but I'd have felt worse. Right now I'm feeling like, damned if I do, damned if I don't.

B: egg sub, 2 morningstar sausages, coffee w/ ff 1/2 & 1/2
S: mock cinnabon
L: shrimp w/ lt mayo
S: granny smith apple rings
D: salad (salmon, lettuce, kidney beans, lt feta, lt bc dressing)
S: hc bar
S: granny smith apple rings

Okay, g2g2 bed, paid programming is coming on. Yuck.

Hey Heidi,

First off what are you doing up so late? You need rest.

Secondly phase 1 didn't work for me either when I kept telling myself I would do it. What worked was just starting phase 2 again and being strict. I allowed myself at the most one grain during the day and 2 fruits. In fact thats what I am doing right now and its helping me lose aside from the exercise.

Just take it day by day. Start with something you can handle. Oh and drink water. It helps me think I am filled.

I feel much better now that TOM has arrived--my cravings were not bad today, my energy and motivation levels were much higher and I no longer feel like I'm in a funk. I was extremely productive today--cleaned the entire apartment, made mock cinnamon bread, made dinner, jogged and even started a new scrapbook page.

B: egg sub, Morningstar sausage patties
S: coffee w/ ff 1/2 & 1/2, mock cinnamon square
L: salad (lettuce, turkey ham, turkey, 1/4 avocado, lt bc dressing)

S: mock cinnamon bread
S: sf fudgsicle
D: creamy crockpot chicken, zucchini

WTG Heidi! Way to pick yourself back up. Just have to keep the momentum going. PMS should be coming for me anytime now I can already feel it.

So I have never done scrapbooking in my life. How do you start? Just pick pictures from a particular moment and be creative with the designs. Just wondering my MIL and SIL do it.

HI Heidi,

Camp jeep was fun and hot and exhausting all at once. Pretty rough with the kids. Aside from all the tricked out, new, and old jeeps we saw, there was plenty else to do. We went snowtubing (they brought in snow), saw the B-52's and TIm McGraw in concert, saw Tony Hawk skateboard which was awesome, went on trail rides in the mountains, took the Rubicon challenge which basically means taking one of the Jeep Rubicons Chrysler brings and driving it on their off road course of rocks and hills and mud. They had all kinds of activities, even scrapbooking, stick making, bridhouse making, kids camp for kids to all kinds of stuff, scuba diving, BMX biking, skateboarding, geocaching. THe list just keeps going. Plus they were gicving out a ton of free stuff. We had alot of fun.

How you doing? Still on the ball? I keep slipping just a little not a lot. keeping up with exercise although i don't think I am pushing myself as much as I should.

Talk to you soon.

So much has happened since I last posted.

We went on a cruise, my computer died, the vasectomy reversal for my dh was cancelled at the last minute because he's too fat, unplanned trip to N. CA, the car broke down in the middle of nowhere, hurt my foot and couldn't jog...

Although my eating has improved since last Wednesday, before then I was eating terribly and I haven't been exercising. I have a lot of stuff going on emotionally but as much as I'd love to eat, I don't want to get fat. My dh has already dropped 10 lbs and he's now the one motivating me to get back on track.

HI Heidi,

So glad to hear from you. Sorry about your misfortunes. Hope the cruise was nice.

Maybe this board can help you get back on track too. Posting was probably the first step.

Welcome back and if you need to talk about anything you know I am here.

Heidi thanks for the tip. Don't have any caladryl but aspercreme and ibuprofen seem to be doing a good job. Hopefully there won't be a next time. My luck though not to get stung in like 20 years then get stung twice in one summer. I am less sore today but definitely itchy time for Lanacaine.

Hope all is well. Talk to you soon.
