If you have read my journal, you know how nervous (and very wary) I am about posting before and after shots. However, I figured why not???

Christmas 2005--Two weeks before going on the Beach

Summer 2006--6 months on the Beach

Summer 2007--18 months on the Beach

At least 95 lbs left to lose! Can you tell the difference yet?

Thanks everybody! All of your positive comments really help me stay motivated. I can't say that losing all these pounds has been easy, but it has been way less restrictive than anything I have ever done before. I love the Beach (and this wonderful community)!

I can understand feeling wary of posting personal pictures on a public forum. BUT, it is sooo incredibly motivating for many people. You have done a fabulous job and it really shows. Your commitment gives others hope and inspiration. Congratulations!

Mary--I think that is why I posted these pics: I knew that all of you would know just how hard I worked to lose that weight. I mean, in a sense it wasn't hard at all because I never feel deprived on the Beach. But psychologically, it was a major challenge. Thanks for taking a look! And I was (and remain) very happy.
