Prayers are wonderful. Dennis is doing good. That young doctor was sooooooooooooooo wrong. With a laxative drink, and daily suppositories we are going at least twice a day. We had a home health nurse and I told her all that the young doctor said and she said she had worked with many people with MS. When I told her that he said Dennis wasnt a candidate for
a colostomy she said she didnt think that was right. So she went and talked to his regular doctor and read some of his reports and they all said if this stuff didnt work then he could do a colostomy. But right now hes doing great. My sister in law that was with me when we talked to doctor ,and she had called his family and told them they were just sending him home to die. So it wasnt just my ears. And my friend who had the colostomy and almost died 3 times is home. With many prayers he rallied this after he got as far as being on a respirator. When they weaned him off respirator he just got well and colostomy started working.
The only not so good thing in my life is I made another person mad where I work. She is an alchoholic and she is calling my bosses and other people telling them Im not doing my job. Of course my bosses stand behind me, but her sister is my best friend and so its hard on her.
My daughter and her husband have moved into our basement. They brought two dashhounds. 4 dogs ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh but most time is ok.
We are waiting for the arrival of a girl in October, my first grandchild.

I'm on phase one (after 3 years) I have a few excess pounds to lose, so there we go. It's definitely the over-40 syndrome!!!

Anyway, just read your last few posts and am really hoping that things are looking up permanently for you.... and congratulations in advance if you've become a grandma by now!

WoW I thought Id never get back here. Got a virus or something in my old computer and bought a new one and have just been busy. Lost my email account that had my way to get here. We have been on a trip, and Im having my old problem with my back so just had to wait till today to figure out where I had this site written down. Today I made it

. Im going to go back and see when I last was here and then fill in the blanks. And yes Max remember you well and still use you as an inspiration. And Ann when I came back it took me to start of my journal and you were the first person to message me. I love you guys

well I see its been a month since Ive been here. I had to redo my ticker since I couldnt find a way to get back to my old one. I am stuck at 303
1 pound more than what i got down to with southbeach. Im happy but want to still get under 300. I had a fill on Monday and was just able to get back to diet on Thursday. So I am working on my way of eating again. We took a trip the last week of June. Went to Chicago for 1 day and then spent our time back and forth from Iowa to Illinois just goofing off. My son and son in law stayed in Bushnell Il. for 4 days and camped at night at the cornerstone festival. It was a great time and much needed.
Dennis is still pooping

and I think doing really good for someone who has had MS for over 40 years. Roxane is in last trimester and on Wednesday she will go for a test to look at babies heart. She has gestational diabetes. Her sugars are all over the place. I feel inside baby is fine, but welcome the test to know for sure. She has fixed half the basement for them and this week we bought the crib. Its getting here
Im going to be a grandma. I have bought way too many girl outfits. Some new and some from garage sales. Brian is trying to decide which way to go with school, his summer online classes got behind and they wont count. The 6 charges against him are still there and I guess we are going to fight some of them. Not that the charges are wrong but because the police didnt have the right to check everywhere. I just want it over so he can do his year and go on with life. But he is doing ok and loving being in a band and very busy. I came home from Il. with a sinus infection and can tell will have to do another round of antibiotics. And the problem I had with lady mad at me is still there. In the beginning I tried to get her to come back but I have decided now wont work at it anymore.
She works at the senior center still once a month. I have been overly nice to her but she still tells her sister how Im so bad and how she will not give up trying to get rid of me. I also have 2 people fighting and 1 stealing milk. i love my job but this stuff is getting to me. But it always works out.
