{{{MO}}} Thanks for bumping me up! A real quick post before I have to head out to work............Bermuda was INCREDIBLE!!! AMAZING!!!! GORGEOUS!!!! BEAUTIFUL!!!! And the trip home yesterday sucked beyond measure. Seriously. We didn't have a non-stop, so our 1st flight - to PHL was delayed by 90 min. No explanation. Our layover in PHL was only supposed to be 90 min, so they (US Airways) told us that the plane to BOS would be held for a short time, so hurry over to the next concourse (of course, they gave us 3 different gate #s, so we weren't entirely sure which one to go to) to be sure to make the connection.) After running through the airport, we arrive, only to find the flight is delayed. No explanation. 4 hours later we finally took off. So..........I'm still tired and cranky from that. The trip info will come later, I promise!

Gotta run!

ok, I created a photo album on Snapfish.com since it was so difficult to decide which pictures to post. Anyway, it's an invitation-only website, so if you would like to look at the pictures, pm me with your e-mail and I'll send the invite to you (you do have to sign up with the website, but it's totally free - HONEST!!)

back to reading journals.........

Lynt, we actually rented a house this time. We went last March on a TNT charter out of Logan, which was pretty decent as charters go. We stayed at the Coco Reef last year. Not bad. Not outstanding, but was ok.

Anyway, our trip was pretty laid back - for DH and me. Intentionally so. We wanted a relaxing vacation. Everyone had to volunteer for a night to cook dinner and one night to clean up after, so I only had one night of cooking to worry about. Clean up, despite my telling everyone they had to clean up after their b'fast, lunch, and snack dishes, fell on deaf ears mostly, so I did that. In self defense really. There were only limited dishes, plus being a tropical place, there were lots of tiny ants that were tempted if any food debris was left anywhere. Oh well.......

We rented a scooter (only way around the island, other than bus or taxi), so we did take a little trip to the Royal Dockyard to shop, and then went back again to go snorkeling on Sunday. Awesome! We also rented rented a little motorboat on Sat. and took shifts going out snorkeling at a shipwreck and then around through the Great Sound and back out to the ocean and around to our dock. What an experience that was. Amazing!

The last night we took everybody out to dinner at the Swizzle Inn, famous for creating the Rum Swizzle. Let's say we did imbibe in a couple of pitchers..... :D We had a blast!

Ok, a break in the story.........gotta go fix dinner! More later.......

ok, I'm back. Hmmmm..........what else to tell? We spent a great deal of time on the dock. And in the water. And just generally chilling out. And, yes, there was copious amounts of rum and tequila (margaritas and rum swizzles), which I did imbibe in a few. And enjoyed. thoroughly  :D 8)

So, I got on the scales this morning and was up .6 lb. Not bad, considering heavy TOM arrived Mon. am, I was stuck sitting around all day Mon. ate crappy airport food when I could get it, and even now, my ankles look like twin oaks from the fluid I'm retaining from yesterday's difficulties. I'm hoping tomorrow I can get back out on the road and do my walking and then back to the weights.

Oh, before I forget, here's the link to the house we rented. Sigh..........
