I am tired today, but not totally exhausted. I have a lot on my mind, I guess. Plus, I haven't had my period in 46 days. :( Got some provera to work that out. I have hoped that weight loss would restore my periods, but alas, they still allude me.

Still working out three days a week. I will probably miss Saturday because I have a lot of stuff going on, but now that I take the bus, I am getting exercise everyday any way.

Back to work....

So the Curves workout is starting to bore me, so I am probably going to have find something else to do for exercise. I look forward to the walk there more than the actual workout. Yesterday, I walked to the grocery store twice and planted flowers. I gotta a pretty good workout, and the flowers are beautiful.

Still no period, but I am hoping the wait won't be much longer. I hate waiting for anything!

I think I am doing okay, though lately, thanks to the Provera, I have been HUNGRY. I have eaten things I shouldn't like (like Sabaz Chicken with white rice two nights in a row), but always the next meal goes back to SB. No new weight loss, but then I don't expect any for awhile.

Sometimes, like two days ago, I get frustrated that I am not losing the weight faster, but I know that I am doing it the right way. It is just a drag. I found out that I am down to a size 24 jeans, which is very good! Gotta keep it up.

Well, the big AF finally arrived yesterday, and I have had a few very minor crampy twinges, but other than that, all seems well. I so hoped that SB would give me my periods back, but I must be doing something wrong. I have noticed that I am more likely to have a period when I DON'T exercise regularly than when I do, though this could just be a coincidence.

I put on a pair of size 22 jeans today, and it was a mistake. They fit, but they were hard to walk in. I went on my long walk to the grocery store for pads, and it was hard. Sigh....

Today's Menu
B: taco salad with pinto beans
L: bbq chicken and a huge pile of mixed veggies w/beans
D: yogurt with bananas and strawberries

That doesn't seem like much food, but I guess I wasn't that hungry today. So...

Tomorrow's Menu
B: 1/2 ww cheese and turkey sandwich with avocado and red pepper
S: grapes and almonds
D: chili and a huge salad
S: yogurt, banana, strawberry

Summer is almost here. Just four more days!

Thanks, Barb! I can't believe how many miles I have put on these old bones lately. I walk at least 12 miles a week and work out at Curves three times a week. I hope that it shows when i go in for my monthly weigh in on the 16th!

So, I finally got this period that I wanted to have. Now, I can't go workout. :( The flow is pretty heavy. So, to ease my woes, I am going to do yoga on the backporch now and then go for a long walk tonight after it cools off.

Here is my backporch yoga routine:
breathing and namaste
Sunbreaths
Seated Twists
Cat/dog
Mountain
Warrior one
Warrior two
Goddess
Repeat
Cobra pose
Downward facing dog
Child’s pose
Relax or more breathing

My neighbors have a lovely fountain in their backgroudn and with all of the trees and the golf course out there, it is like a little oasis.

Yes, I did! And I pulled a groin muscle. I knew it happened. I felt it twang. :)

It is the first time I have pulled a muscle doing yoga, so I guess the beatufil weather overcome me and I went a little overboard.

More yoga this afternoon!

Two more days 'til summer vacation!

Owie, sorry about the muscle pull. Try icing it!

Hugs, and have a good day! :D

I will try it! The problem is that since my car blew up more than a month ago, I have to walk everywhere. in fact, I have to catch the bus here in a few minutes. I guess I can always ice it down when I get home from work. :)

One more day, one more day, one more day...... until summer vaction. I am really, really looking forward to it. I have so much work to do. And I want to write, write, write.

Anyway, today was a pretty good day.

Menu
B: 1/2 ww turkey and cheese sandwich w/red pepper and strawberries
L: chopped steak and a big salad
S: 1/2 banana, almonds, milk
D: tuna and chickpea salad with veggies

The heat is getting worse here, so now I have to work out before 11 everyday. I went today at 3:30 and thought I would pass out from the heat on the walk back home.

I have some new fitness goals for summer:
by the end of June: walk five miles a day
by the end of July: join a gym with an indoor pool

just got back from the gym. It is so hot out there. I left around 10ish, and it was already boiling. The humidity is going to kill me. But I just can't make myself get up before 9:30. Otherwise, I won't get enough sleep, and when I don't get enough sleep, then I have panic attacks.

I had a very off Beach couple of meals yesterday, but I ain't worried about it. I hoped back on plan the first thing this morning.

Today's Menu
B: 1/2 ww pb sandwich, strawberries
S: 1/2 banana, milk
L: chicken vegetable stir fry
D: beans and something else

I am totally freaked out about getting weighed today. (Holding my breath.) My scale says that I weigh the same as last month. However, I have made peace with myself. I have decided that as long as I show a loss in inches, I won't beat myself up over no loss on the scales.

I am heading off to the gym now. Will post my results here when I get back.
