It's all in the juggling ... I can be very efficient when motivated!
By the time I got home I had 25 minutes (traffic flowed well), so I got lots done! Threw a load in the dryer, another in the washer, folded the one from the dryer and brought it upstairs, moved all the toys/dog bones/general stuff off the area rug in the living room and really, thoroughly vacuumed it before I had to take off again. Put the couch cover back on, fluffed pillows and placed them back on the couch and did a quick once-over of the little half-bath after I got home from school in the 10 minutes before I had to take DS#1 to his viola lesson. Why I didn't do all this stuff over the past week and spread it out is a mystery in the mind of this procrastination expert! At least I'm keeping up the forward momentum.
Good day, TIRED, but lots more to do before bed. About to get the munchkins jammied and read a stack of books, then check DS#1's homework over before I send him to bed. Clothes out for tomorrow for everyone, lunches made, my food planned and made ... all tasks that will make my morning a heck of a lot easier. Just can't sit on the couch. Or fold laundry on our bed - I'll be out in no time!
A little scared of weigh-in tomorrow, as I'm quite sure all the treats from yesterday will make their presence known. Tough! I made the choice, I get to see the consequences. Gotta suck it up and place the blame where it belongs! Just hoping I'm down, even a little.
Hee hee ... just had our resident rabbit hop through the yard, where he paused long enough for the little guys to see him. Almost in unison they asked, "Is that the Easter bunny?" Golly, I LOVE 3-year-olds! Such a fun age.
Okay, remainder of the day's food:
L - mix of leftover chicken breast, black beans, stewed tomatoes and a little yogurt for creaminess ... almost like a chili. Can of Diet Coke.
S - Whole grain Wheat Thins, 2% cheddar, can of Diet Coke, 32 oz. water
D - cheeseburger made from extra-lean hamburger and 2% Kraft single, wrapped in a head Boston lettuce w/mixture of lite mayo and ketchup; can of Diet Coke (did I mention I was really, REALLY tired?!)
S - don't know yet, probably milk or yogurt, maybe some fruit
For those keeping score at home, that's 48 oz. Diet Coke to 64 oz. water (my goal was to at least match water amounts), but I'll try to drink some more water this evening and go for double. I exercised for 55 minutes first thing this moring, and I'm journaling now, so goals are met for today! Hooray for getting back on track!
Definitely sitting too long while typing ... need to get up and move. Have a great night, all, and I'll try to check in later if I'm conscious.
Vita brevis ... carpe diem!
