Completely an observation... so take it for what it's worth... but I noticed that you're eating a lot of dairy/fats. Just wondering if maybe you incorporated some more veggies, fruit, and whole grains - if that might help?

You're doing great! Have a good one! :D

Thanks Pookie- I have been having a hard time since I got sick a couple of weeks agao and am thinking about going back to Phase 1 for a bit to try and get back on track. I was doing so good and it seems I don't want to eat as much now. Plus I really need to go shopping and restock on all of the things I love. That will help too. But I do appreciate you taking a peak at my madness. I will change it up. :)

Don't look at today it isnt pretty either. :(

B-melon, cottage cheese
S-string cheese
L-chili
S-cheese, kashi granola bar
D-chicken, cauliflower, milk

4-hershey truffle kisses...so glad they are gone now at work. :)

Doing great!

Debbie,

Just noticed you have done very well on SBD! Congrats - and I'm sure you will reach your goal by the date you have set. I started SBD Dec 2004 but did not stick with it so now I'm back at Phase I and starting all over with much more enthusiasm for the process and for the way of life for me and my husband.

Oh, and I totally sympathize about the chocolates at the office - think I may whack someone if they bring in those extremely tempting goodies any more! :?

Trust me, I know what it's like to have to go grocery shopping. When I get home with all my foods - it's like a whole new world. ;)

You're doing fantastic! Keep up the good work! :D

Thanks for the encouragement!! I really appreciate it! I meantioned going back to Phase 1 to Michael and he thinks I'm crazy but will help me if it is what I decide to do. I won't do the whole two weeks just 1 maybe. I haven't copletely decided yet. I haven't fallen back into al of my old habits so I think I can get back on track without it also. I am going to go shopping tonight and restock on all of my favorites.

I am eating this bad crap and still losing weight which blows my mind. I am down another pound as of this morning to 36 pounds lost now. I can really feel at least 40 gone by the end of the challenge once I get back on track.

I believe the exercising my butt of is what is saving me. I am thouroughly enjoying all of the exercise. It feels good. Now I just need to get my food back ontrack and it will be all the better.

I really want to look and feel like a different person in September when I walk down that aisle and make a new family with Michael and my children. :)

I agree :D ;) My DH doesn't think I need to watch what I eat so much as long as I exercise. I just want the healthy aspect through eating too... not just the exercise part. ;) So, are you having cravings? (Did I miss that part?) If not, what is your reasoning for going back on P1? Just curious :)

Awww, how cool is that? :) *sniff, sniff*

Hey Pook!! Happy Birthday!!

I wouldn't say I am having cravings. I have just been having too much access to not so good for me crap. I think the seminar this past Saturday put me over the edge. The cookie was worth it...it wa so darn yummy. But did I feel like I had to have it? No not at all. My mouth didn't water But I remembered how good they were last year and wanted to see if I felt the same way. Oh yeah baby that was definatley worth it. But it didn't make me want more I was happy after the one. I don't know if that makes sense.

So I guess no Phase 1 for me I am just going to go shopping and make bettre choices.

I just look at Michael sometimes and it blows my mind. The man is 6'10" tall and eats everything in sight. LOL He is a walking pair of legs. LOL I want his metabolism. Ever since I started South Beach, he has lost a pant size without even trying. UGH!! Men!!

Thanks for the sniff sniffs as far as the wedding. We have had a rollercoaster of a life the past 4 years and I truly never thought I would date much less get married again. I am so lucky to have found him, he is so good to me and my kids. We have been through so much and it just feels good to be happy and loved again. :) We keep each other going. So I have 6 months to change.

Thanks

I think making better food choices is a great idea. :) If you're going to make this a life change, it's good to realize that there WILL be times like the cookie incident... but that doesn't mean you "fell off the wagon", it just means you enjoyed some food and should maybe readjust some things - so going grocery shopping for new things is a great idea. ;)

That's great that you keep each other going! :D How wonderful?!

P.S. I also wanted to add that I think you did GREAT with the cookie situation. You made a concious decision to eat one cookie, you enjoyed it and then you said "that's enough". I couldn't think of a better scenario. Some people might say, "Well, *I* could - to not eat the cookie!" But, this WOE isn't about depriving yourself all the time. It's about moderation - which I believe you displayed most excellently. ;)

Thanks fearless leader!! :) It really did taste wonderful and I loved each and every bite. It is also good to know that I can have something like that every now and then and not completely blow everything I worked so hard for. I am going to allow myself something extra special every now and then.

Today I ate
B-eggs, veggies, milk
S-cheese stick
L-chicken salad(chicken, grapes, couple chopped cashews, mayo with splenda) stuffed in 1/2 ww pita very yummy
S-celery with LC wedge
D-roast beef, carrots, 1/2 potato, milk
S-sf fudgesicle
