I'm heading out on Thursday, and I know there's going to be a lot of temptation...

What I know is that I'm going to be running around in serious heat with two active kids. I feel better and more energetic if I avoid the surgars and fats, so I'll be making choices based on maintaining my energy level for them more than on what's SB-friendly or not. I'll probably indulge in more carbs than normal, but mostly good ones.
I'm doing a P1 this week in preparation, and I'll probably drop back to P1 after I get back as well. to make up for my expected indulgences.
The bonus is - I'll do more walking than usual.

I'm kinda afraid to go off the plan too much. Last time I "cheated" (i.e., fried food) I had a bad tummyache! We're going to Port Aransas, Texas, where the fresh seafood is plentiful. It'll taste better broiled or grilled anyway!

I just got back from a few days in San Diego and thought I had completely blown it. However, between being too busy to eat my snacks and doing more walking than usual, I managed to maintain. And that was with eating some foods totally off the map in regards to SBD. You can make healthier choices and still enjoy yourself!

I'm right there with ya! I'm leaving for the beach on Friday, but I plan on basically sticking with SB. I don't really feel like I'm missing out on anything! The only thing that I normally eat at the beach that I normally wouldn't is Ben and Jerry's brownie fudge ice cream. YUM.
But, hubby and I do a lot of walking on the beach, so that makes up for it to me!!
Have a great time everybody who's leaving soon!

Went camping last week for 4 days. Basically packed my fridge into the trailers.....so there wasn't much room for cheating. The only cheat food was liquor.......
Got home and actually lost a pound!
Don't sweat the small stuff....

people are usually too busy on vacations (and active) and can usually maintain....if not.....get back to this beach......
