But I'm really really wanting to turn in a perfect week before this is all over and this is it!! Last night I didn't want to exercise since it was really late, but I did anyway and slept great, so I'm definately going to make myself do that again. 8)

Howdy! thanks for your note in my journal. I think i will try the november challenge. It feels 'right', but i'm kinda scare because i'm so new at this, and wouldn't want to mess anything up.
As for DI, good idea... now the question is wether or not they have one THAT WORKS. I'll have to look tomorrow. The DI here is only a mile away from my apartment, and there's a SAVERS across the street from the DI. between the two, i might get lucky.
After i read about the challenge (and read that you have to do an initial weigh in), my brain started working and i thought I think my Visiting Teacher has a scale so a called and asked if i could borrow it this weekend, and she said i could. (Thank goodness for visiting teachers!)
I worked at the DI in poc'y for 1 1/2 years. Now, if only i could have lived as close to that one as i do to this one, i could have walked to work a lot more!
Have a beachy day!

Thanks Andromeda, sometimes I wonder how I do it, especially when my two youngest are whining for stuff and climbing all over me. Sometimes I just sit my 2 yo on me while I do crunches. More resistance that way! They say if you do anything for 3 weeks it becomes a habit.

I'm trying to kick it up a notch with my cardio now, I felt like I was being lazy with my choices. So now I'm trying some stuff that will really make me sweat.

I love it up on Cedar Mountain! We had a great campsite that we loved just past Duck Creek. It's beautiful up there! And a nice escape from the heat.

Yeah, you run that risk when you shop there. My dh is the best DI shopper around. He has the patience to sift through things to find treasures. But he also can't leave without a stack of books (he's an English Lit. major).

Visiting Teachers are great. I had my ladies over for lunch today and served a great SB lunch (unbeknownst to them) of chicken salad and veggies and dip. Of course I had to offer croissants along with the ww pitas, (guess who was the only one who ate a pita?) But, my VTs played devil's advocate (also unbeknownst to them) and brought me a bag full of the best Halloween candy bars (Butterfinger, $100 Grands, 3 Musk., Milky Way you get the picture). They went straight into the freezer! I had already had a small piece of cake and couldn't afford any more treats.

Good luck this week! I was excited to see you signed up for the challenge! You will love it! I haven't exercised this much in years! It feels so good!

Well, I guess my weigh ins for the the next three days are two fold:

My final weigh in for the October challenge and beginning weigh in for the November challenge.

Day 1: 134 lbs.
Day 2: 134 lbs.
Day 3: 134 lbs. (I guess I'm pretty consistent!)

I'm a little discouraged that this is the exact same as the beginning weigh for October. But at least I didn't gain anything (I guess).

But i bet with all the excercising you've been doing, that you're in a lot better shape!!! I think that you probably have burned some fat and gained muscle. Have your clothes gotten looser (if looser is even a word) since a month ago.
I went to the thrift stores today. At goodwill, scales wer 6$ (yeah, that place is pricey!), at SAvers, they were 4.99, and at DI... a whole whopping 2 dollars!! You were right on!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
so, do you want to guess where i got mine at....DI!
I got on the scale and it said 289.

Hello November Partner!
Just wanted to pop in and say "hey".....Hey!

I'm absolutely wiped out right now. I just spent the last 24 hours at church doing our Safe Trick or Treat. Our Youth group puts it on and I'm a Youth Leader. Afterward, I spent the night there with a gaggle of 12-13 year old's. Gah! I'm *way* to old for this. I need a nap!

I'll see ya soon!

Lynn

ETA: And would you like to post in the points thread or would you like me too? Either way, I'm easy! Hope you are having a grand weekend!

November Exercise Plan Week 1

Postby meemoo » Mon Oct 30, 2006 2:03 am

OK, starting a new month and a new challenge, so here we go...

M: 60 min. Cardio Boot Camp (which turns out, has a lot of strength training in it) DONE!
T: Walking around Trick-or-Treating (does that count?)
W: 30 min. Body Sculpting w/weights DONE!
R: 30 min. Step 'n' Box DONE!
F: 30 min. Kickboxing/martial arts DONE!
S: 30 min. Body Sculpting w/weights DONE!
S: will do something to compensate for nothing on Halloween

I'll add in specifics as I decide what I'm in the mood for on a daily basis. Again, I'm trying to step up my cardio in an effort to get rid of those last few pounds that my body wants to hang on to.

I also thnk I will start documenting my food that I eat more carefully. I've starting sliding a little and grabbing a few candy corns here and there. It hasn't been much, or enough to thwart my 95% beachy days, but I'm afraid it will if I'm not careful. If I can just get through Halloween....

Howdy partner! You all ready for tomorrow? I'm rarin' to go.

My weight stayed the same for three days: 218. So you can add that to our points thread (thanks for doing that by the way!). I answered the questions too! Off to a bang up start!

My week will look something like this:

M - step cardio
T - strength
W - step cardio
Th - strength
F - step cardio
S - strength/or something different/or off
S - strength/or something different/ or off

Let me know how you want handle this. I'm easy.

We are so gonna be losers, so we'll be winners!
