Wow! I can't wait until I can actually run! :) I really don't know if I know how!

I'm sorry work is sucking :( I feel, you should always be looking (inside and outside). I love my job, and still get the normal job alerts (moster, hotjobs). You never know :)

Hey partner!

I owe you a BIG apology for falling off the face of the Earth last week. I know that you know about me being sick (and it was not a good scene), but I should have posted my points total. I really feel badly about letting you down.

So, I'm sorry. I sincerely hope you'll forgive me and I hope you're having a healthier week than I am. :)

(I didn't sign up for a challenge this month. It's busy season at my publishing firm, so I thought it would be easier to do things at my own pace. But let me know how Boot Camp goes -- I'd be interested in trying that out in November.)

Hey no problem. I think Pook posted approximate points anyway and we were somewhere in the middle.

Hope you feel better soon!

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I gaaaaained. Back up to 144. But I have one of those Tanita scales and my water % seems up a bit. So maybe just retaining??? The annoying thing is that with not much to lose it's pretty easy to backslide and get right back to where you were. And as much as you try not to, when you are losing you start to calculate how fast you'll get to goal..... till reality comes back to bite ya.

Sigh. Well I haven't gone for a run in a few days so I will go today- treadmill though cause it's raining.

Oh man, that is irritating! I dropped a few lbs in the first week of BC, and now I am right back up again! I think I have something hormonal going on, because my skin sucks and I can't sleep enough. But I just finished my TOM, so I don't know what is going on. BLech! Keep up the good work!

Oh I hear you. I've been gaining and relosing the same 2 lbs for months. ARG! The only thing that finally seems to be working is really watching my calories. I know I know...we aren't supposed to have to do that on SB. Well I think when you get to a certain "low" it's the only thing that works. At least that's what I've found.

Well the scale has slowly started to creep back down. 143.8 :(
I wonder if it had anything to do with that 4.8 run I did last Wed..... never run so far or so fast... and I was FAMISHED afterwards. Just ate everything in sight. Those KAshi breakfast bars couldn't have helped either.
It seems that when I did moderate amount of consistent running - say 3 miles about 3-4 times a week I lost (don't want to jinx it though!!!) but not if I do more/less. Maybe it throws the balance out of whack and the Scale Gods get angry!!!
So here's the plan:

M: rest
T: run 3mi
W: weights and run
TH: pilates
F: run
S: run
S: weights

If you aren't eating enough for the energy expenditure, your body will conserve calories. If you work out extra hard, but don't eat more, your body will rebel. Darn metabolism! :D

Ah, but there's the catch-22.... how do you know when you are eating "enough" and when you cross over into eating too much?
argh!

Yaaaay down a pound to 143!!

DBF found a new way to motivate me to go to the gym:

Me: Tell my I should go to the gym
Him: Go to the gym
Me: But why?
Him: What did the scale say this morning?
Me: grrrrrrrr
Him: Oh and when is that fitting for the wedding dress?
Me: *Runs out the door*

 stinker

That's lotsa love on his part! (and trust you won't bite his head off)!

have you ever noticed you spend more time thinking that you should be working out than actually working out-- I do!!! I know it, yet I keep doing it-- go figure!

Morning!!!
And what a lovely day it is. I just came back from the gym.
Ok this is me getting serious. The wedding is 244 days away (yes I'm a little obsessed) and the dress is looming in the horizon.

So I am starting my "double whammy" workouts. Strength training or pilates in the morning, running in the afternoon.

Oh, I will kick wedding dress BUTT!!!!
