My stomach hurts for some odd reason. I'm sorta bloated, crampy and just plain feeling really yucky. Dunno what it is. Maybe the coffee??

I'll be going out of town on business tomorrow and I'm pretty excited because I get to go home for the weekend as well. The only thing is, I'm a bit worried about what to bring as far as snacks go. I'll try to make a stop at the grocery store and buy some items to keep at the hotel. I'll also be making some muffins tonight and of course, the big breakfast cookie =). I'm not too concerned with lunch or dinner as I will be eating out [woohoo, all expenses paid! lol] but you know, gotta make sure I'm covered for snacks.

I'm ready to go home NOW. I've got boatloads of things to do such as pack, cook/bake, and SLEEP EARLY as I'll be up at the ASS CRACK of dawn tomorrow. oyyyyyyy.

ok EW.

I just took a bite out of the Smart Dogs I brought for lunch and they are NOT my cup of tea. Seriously, they're not to my liking at all. OY. I've tossed one of them out and I'm not even going to finish the one I started.

I'll just finish up my veggies and maybe grab a chicken salad or something with protein on my break. ack.

2 tbsp hummus
1/2 cup FF Greek Yogurt w/ SF Jello

S2: [this is when I get home from work, around 5pm]
1 cup LF soymilk w/ SF French Vanilla Syrup

2 cups veggies

Soooo, yesterday was my 3rd week into P2 and while I lost weight when I added fruit, I GAINED weight when I started to add grains. Quite possibly, I'm not adding the RIGHT grains, so I'm gonna switch it up. Today since I was in a rush I couldn't because I couldn't figure out how much a serving of bread is. Is it ONE slice? I'm supposed to be having 1 grain & 2 fruits right now and so far it's been ok. I'm wondering if it's the double fruit that's adding to my weight gain? Anyway, I weighed in this morning and I'm at 107. The first week of p2, I was 106.2, so I gained .8 ounces. Not huge but it's STILL a gain. Anyway, I did my measurements yesterday and to my sweet surprise, I lost a few!!! YAY! Now, I'm a wee bit skeptical because I may not have measured myself correctly the first time, but hell, I think I'm just being a negative nancy, you know??

Oh, and speaking of weight and such, I have 2 scales, one digital and 1 analog [or whatever you call it]. The analog reads 105 whereas the digital reads 107. Which one should I believe and do scales sometimes lie?!

Meal plan for today: [don't know if I'll be able to post for the next few days as I will be out of town]

B:
Oatmeal w/ 1 cup milk & 7 apricots chopped
6 oz V8
SF Redbull
8 cashews
Tall non-fat latte [it was a Grande, but I didn't finish it]

L:
[leftovers]
Grilled mahi

1 Braeburn apple

S:
1 persian cucumber w/ 1 tbsp
1/2 cup FF Greek yogurt with SF Jello

D:
Grilled chicken Cesar-no dressing
8 cashews/almonds
2 pieces semi-sweet chocolate & dark chocolate

Well, here I am in WA state. Wahoo!! I'm definitely in my element; nice cool weather, rainy...LOVE IT! Hey, I was born & raised in Vancouver, Canada..21 years of living there...gotta love it.

Anyway, my damn flight was delayed an hour and I swear as we were landing, I thought my head was going to explode. Having a cold and a plugged up ear isn't the BEST thing to have when you're in a plane with all that cabin pressure. As we started to descend, the pressure got worse and I seriously thought I was gonna have to go to the ER. I'm fine now, still a bit stuffed up but better than last night.

Anyhoo, I was able to go to the grocery store last night to get a few snack items-veggies [ready to eat bag of broccoli, cauliflower, sugar snap peas], fruit [apples & bananas], cereal [fiber one] & milk, sf redbull, V8, water & some cheese sticks. =)

B:
Fiber One cereal w/ FF milk
1 Banana
SF Redbull
5.5 oz V8

S:
Nuts

L:
3 cups Veggies
Mozza cheese stick
Fuji apple

S:
FF Greek Yogurt
Blueberries mixed in

D:
Grilled Salmon Cesar
1 piece semisweet chocolate
1 cup FF milk

Hopefully it'll be easy to stay on top of my diet and HOPEFULLY I don't gain ANY weight.

Seriously, why am I NOT losing?

I love being in the Pacific NorthWest; being HOME. I love being here!! and to be honest, I would much rather NOT go back to San Diego!

Are you actually home?? In which case you would be in the pacific South west! I love telling my American friends that I am from the south....... the Canadian south!

Iknow what you mean about the cooler weather, but you have got to like a little less rain! We are so wet here in Vancouver, for almost 9 months of the year, that I wonder we don't grow roots!!

well i'm back and guess what? i lost 2 lbs =) wahoo!!
i did fairly well but i think what did it was that i only ate when i was hungry and when i did, of course it was all sb food. wahoo!!!

anyhoo...i'm tired and i have a massive headache. my flight got in pretty late last night and i had to wake up early today. argh.

meal plan for today...

cereal with LF soy

Salad of some sort

yep, not too sure what's going on today. gotta get back to the rhythm of things...

Hi Sunkissed!!! Thanks for stopping by =) I was just in Vancouver this past weekend cuz I had a business trip in Seattle and went home for a few days after. I LOVE IT THERE and I really can't wait til I'm back in the Northwest. I love Victoria as well and plan on going back for a visit sometime soon.

Ok, so I weighed myself this morning and OF COURSE I GAINED 1.8 LBS back! WTF?! Ehh, I guess I shouldn't really give a rats ass anymore about the scale since it is just CONSTANTLY FLUCTUATING. But it seriously was a disappointment when I saw that it read 107 instead of 105.2. GRRRRR. I'm gonna ask the hubby to hide the digital scale. I hate that thing.

Anyway, meal plan from YESTERDAY ended up being:

B:
Cereal w/LF Soy
SF Redbull
V8

S:
1/4 cup FF yogurt w/ SF jello

L:
Grilled Chicken salad [no dressing]
1 fuji apple
2 cups sugar snap peas

D:
Grilled chicken
Veggies
Banana smoothie [1/2 cup FF plain yogurt, 1 banana, 1/2 NSA fudgesicle, dash of cinnamon, splash of milk]

and for TODAY'S MEAL PLAN

Cereal w/ FF milk

SF Redbull

Well it's gone and hidden...I asked hubby yesterday to hide the digital scale and he did! wahoo!! I told him the only time he should ever disclose that info to me is when I come running to him begging for it. hahahah.

I'm so sorry I missed your posting!! Yah I was home last weekend cuz I was in Seattle on business and OF COURSE had to come home & visit!! No way was I gonna miss out on a free trip home. lol. And yah, I'm from the Canadian South! wahoo!! None of that American south which is ironically where I'm living now (San Diego) LOL.

To be honest, after living in THIS kind of weather (constant sun) it REALLY gets annoying, IMO. I'm not a huge fan of the sun mainly because I HATE being tanned and I'm not a HOT weather kinda girl you know =) I LOVE VANCOUVER WEATHER!! eeks! I miss the cold....

Ok, so I weighed myself this morning using the analog scale (digital is hidden) and even though it's reading 105, I'm still weary that I'm at about 108 again or God forbid, 110 . I think it's because of the fact that I've weighed digitally and yah...I'm rambling.

URGH.

To my sad surprise, I noticed HFCS in my tomato paste. Boo. I only used half of the little can but still, it's pretty disappointing. Oh well...

I really wonder if I'm making any progress on this WOE. SERIOUSLY. I weighed myself this morning with the analog scale and it doesn't look like it moved down. WHY AM I NOT LOSING?!

Friggin' eh, man. *sigh*. Maybe I should just CHILL cuz there is that chance that I did lose inches. From my 1st measurement to my last, there was a reduction but being the skeptic that I am, I think it may have been because I didn't measure myself correctly the first time.

I'm frustrated.

Anyway, here's the meal plan:

B:
Cereal mix w/ FF Skim
Banana
V8
SF Redbull

S:
Sugar snap peas
a few dried apple chunks

L:
Grilled Chicken Salad

D:
Sashimi salad

You think I"m not losing because I'm not eating my snacks? I mean, I really am not hungry because my breakfast pretty much holds me over til lunch anyway AND, even when I do eat lunch, I'm not inhaling everything in sight; I'm eating what I brought. If by chance I do get hungry, I eat my veggies that I pack just in case (which consist of sugar snap peas today). I dunno. Seriously, it's frustrating. I'm trying to keep my caloric intake down too because it seemed like during Phase 1, I ate more calories and I gained. Calorie counting, even though not really SB required, still plays some role. *sigh*
