You look great girl! WOW!! And you don't look like you weigh 225lbs at all. I'd have guessed more like 175. You are awesome!

I second that -- you totally don't look like you weigh in the 200s, I definitely would have guessed much lower. You look amazing! Do you have any SB secrets you care to share?

Good Luck Debbiezan on your new way of life. The south beach diet has changed my life so much, that sometimes it's hard to believe. I know if you stick the diet out that you will get that 60 pounds off and keep it off. I still have another 35-40 pounds to lose. If it gets to a point that you quit losing the weight don't give up. I have only lost 5 pounds all summer, but in the last couple of weeks my body has started losing again. I have lost 225 pounds now, when I get another 5 off which will put me at 200 I will post another picture. Once again good luck

Hi! You look absolutely gorgeous. Congratulations on your progress! My sense is that it's good to take your loved ones' opinions into consideration when you're making important decisions, but at the end of the day, whether you decide to stay at 200 or keep going towards your original goal should be entirely UP TO YOU!

If I were you, I'd just keep on following south beach and see whether my body "wanted" to lose more weight. I have read about other people who have reached their initial goal, but then keep losing slowly even after switching to p3 because they overestimated the weight at which their body would settle if given a healthy diet over a very long period of time.

But again, it's your decision to make! You look terrific now, and you'd probably look great at 180 too.

How tall are you? Your goal weight of 170 seems very realistic and doable. You may want to get a check up with your physician and have your body fat, choloestoral, etc. evaluated and discuss with them what would be healthy for your height and health background. If you are 5'10" or less, usually 200lbs would still be considered an at risk weight.

Also, you may want to factor in about how much excess skin weight you think you'll have removed.

Wow you have done so well, you are totally transformed.

I like your hair much better in the new style.

You do look great, but only you know how you feel....if you are happy now, then just maintain!

People tell me not to lose more, i look small because i have a small frame. I am also very slim on top but down below i am not happy....i am a typical pear with legs like tree trunks :shock:

I will keep going until i am comfortable with myself,which will not be longnow :D

Thanks for posting your progress, it is so inspiring......

I would never believe you wiegh 200! You carry your weight well...at 170 you will probably look really thin, whereas I would look dumpy! You look great, and your photos are quite inspiring!
