Hi Lynda! It was so good to hear from you again! I was wondering how you were doing.

Well..I'm back on track...quite stiff from exercising, but at least I'm trying.

Is Grandma gone now?

If you are stiff, you may want to try doing more stretching before and after.

Hello!

Yep...Grandma left on Friday. It was quite a story. I'll have to type it when I have more time.

Stretching is a great suggestion. I do need to do more of that.

Never stretch cold muscles, though. There are many differing opinions on this, but the safest rule of thumb is to at least march in place for a few minutes prior to stretching. Get the fluids moving through the muscle first to avoid cramping and possible tears. Always err on the side of caution with any form of exercise, stretching included. ;)

Geez...I haven't written since August. That's so sad. September is shaking out to be a better month. I was crazy in August with a deadline, holding down the department at work while everyone else was gone, grandma's visit, and way too much work.

But I took the weekend (and Monday off) to regroup. I have finished 9 loads of laundry, cleaned out my closet, got two big bags ready for Goodwill, and got some rest. I also met some friends to pick apples; wow that was fun!

So, I have planned out my calendar for the rest of September and October. It doesn't seem that bad. The days have a way of getting filled, but I think I will be better off. I should have some more time to swim. That will be good!

Well, I know I keep popping in and saying that I will be better about posting, but really, I will be!

Great job on the reorganization! You are tempting me to do the same...oh wait, I hate cleaning... .

Yeah...cleaning isn't that fun...But it does need done once in a while. I am better at dealing with disasters than preventing them.

...like yesterday! I needed to get out some new contacts and I couldn't find the case where I keep them. I ended up knocking half the shampoo and stuff on the floor and running out to work, leaving the mess. I spent a good hour sorting last night. It's much better now.

Well...I've been eating just fine. I'm low on veggies though.

Yipee!!!! Thanks for visiting.

I am alive. I have had a bunch of extra responsibilities for work, so I haven't been posting as much.

I do miss you guys. Maybe I should make at least one post every morning.

I just had the yummiest Caesar salad. Wow. That was great! I have some left for tomorrow too.
