Well, I'm home today and I'm not feeling so lovely. I just got sick to my stomach and for fear that I might end up starving, I ate a little bit of veggies again along with some tuna. Hopefully I can hold that down.

Oddly though, I'm not SICKLY, just really really uncomfortable. I don't feel well, but not deathly either. Eh.

I just made a batch of Applesauce muffins and they're pretty tasty. They're not very sweet which is great; they're more hearty and wholesome and filling. It's awesome with some apples or banana's or even better peanut butter AND bananas. The only thing is though, I'm not quite sure what a serving is. Hmm.

Anyway, here's the result...

Image

I should've added some splenda since like I said, they weren't that sweet [really not sweet at all...sorta bland] and I ran out of unsweetened applesauce, so I put in 2 tablespoons of SF strawberry preserves.

Still good though..just gotta add stuff to it...

I feel HORRIBLE right now.

I'm bloated [dunno if it's a sign of PMS or if it's my cereal cuz it started around the same time I re-introduced cereal. I sure hope it's PMS]

I'm incredibly WOOZIE. I feel more woozie than I did yesterday and now I've got a headache.

I am TIRED. VERY VERY tired and I wanna go home *sigh*.

MMMMMMMM. COOKIE. COOKIE MONSTER. MMMMMMMMM

I just made a batch of Whole Wheat Snickerdoodles and they're AWESOME. Granted, when the recipe said to ROLL the dough into balls, it was more like MUSH. I added another half cup of flour to make it a bit more doughy and it sorta worked; it was still a wee bit mushy but @ least I was able to manipulate them into balls [using 2 spoons].

Now BECAUSE they were rolled into balls, they came out as such and because of their consistency, I wasn't quite able to flatten them prior to baking. Turns out, flattening them AFTER the fact worked.

The result??

holy mother, talk about FATIGUE.

or could it be a food coma?
whatever. i'm tired.

Went to Fidelity to deposit a check and then hit up Barnes & Noble to check out a few cookbooks for ideas. As I was heading out, I stopped by a display on books about pregnancy. I quickly scanned the table of contents and decided to check out the chapter on 'False Negatives’. Comforting? Nope. It said that even though a person can test negative, hCG levels may not always be apparent or strong @ an early pregnancy causing one to test negative. s**t. So does that mean there’s still a possibility I could be pregnant? Cripes. I sure as hell hope not because, I’m sorry but we’re way too selfish to become parents right now. I guess though, if the Lord thinks we’re ready to have a baby now, we’re ready; we just don’t know it.

Anyway, I’ll re-test in 2 weeks if I haven’t gotten my period yet.

OY.

On another note, it’s a nice long weekend. $5 bucks says it’s gonna zoom right on by like the rest of the long weekends. Hubbs & I are heading to LA tomorrow evening for some BBQ (I’m gonna be good, damnit!) and some partying (I’ll have a glass of red wine if I’m gonna drink). I’m planning on making some oatmeal bars/breakfast cookies for the trip up along with some other items. I’ll force the DH to stop by Albertsons so I can pick up some veggies and stuff while we’re staying at his mom’s house.

Ok, I’m rambling. I’m done. I wanna go home.

HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A SAFE AND WONDERFUL LABOUR DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel ridiculously fat/huge right now. I dont know why I'm bloating so much and I REALLY HOPE AND PRAY that it's because I'm PMSing. I hope it's not my cereal or any of the wheat products I'm eating because man, I'd be really disappointed. URGH.
