You are looking great! I am glad that we kept our skinny jeans around, nice to be able to wear them again and not just look at them in the closet!! Nice work!!!

Being able to zip up and comfortably wear a smaller size of jeans is truly a sweet feeling! Your progress is really noticable! I can't wait to see your goal photos! Keep up the great work.

Oh thanks, i am getting there slowly:)

They are not my skinny jeans, but i do have many of those to get in to, and i cant wait.

I actually started buying clothes from the charity shop when i was at my heaviest. I really didnt want to spend too much money on clothes if they were only to tide me over for a few weeks or months...

I bought the jeans in the photo from a second hand shop, even though they were too tight for me when i tried them on, and i even put more weight on, BUT NOW, they are getting too loose hee hee.

Skinny jeans here i come

It is an amazing feeling

I should be at goal by the end of september, certainly if things continue to go so well.'

Have we seen your pics yet? I love seeing b4 and after pics, it really is inspirational to see the transformations.

Hey Lisa! I have posted my photos. It looks like I need to re-post a couple of the photos because they're no longer showing up on the link! Anyway, here's where I can be found: http://www.southbeach-diet-plan.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=36771

You're doing really great! Keep on Beachin'!

See now, here's the thing.

First off - Lisa, you look AMAZING. Congratulations. Big difference and I'm happy for you.

However, I don't see a difference in her arms at all and that's actually a major problem for me which leads me to believe that it is just SOOOOOOOO hard for women to lose weight in their arms before toning them up. Lucky for Lisa, her arms are fine to begin with. Mine however are not cool and turn me off of wearing tanks and tube tops even though the rest of my upper torso would allow me to do so no problem.

Does anyone have any advice for me on this? Has anyone else successfully lost a lot of weight in their arms? I want skinny arms!

PS - Soulips, you look really great too. Congrats!

Thank you for the compliment MissSouthBeach! Regarding the issue of arms, a co-worker and I were commiserating yesterday about how uncomfortable we are with baring our arms... even when we have on arm-baring clothes that other people compliment us on. I agree that it is probably tough for most women to get rid of that upper-most jiggliest bit of pudge on their arms. Like the rest of the body, you've gotta lose the weight/fat so the toned muscle beneath all that jiggle (perhaps this is just specific to me... I definitely have jiggle) can show through... and for some of us, that will be one of the last places we will lose (meaning, it won't go away until we are finally at our goal weight).

Both my arms and legs are like tree trunks

The pic is decieving, my arms are like jelly when i wave etc

Weight training deffo works wonders, no results over night, but it certainly tones you up.

Use body weight exercises if you dont want to weight train... press ups, tricep dips and pull ups...

Welcome to the jiggly arm club 8)
