Tomorrow marks the day to completly recheck my measurements! I cannot wait to see how many inches I have lost. I am gonna need new pants soon!

It is amazing how much more my energy has increased since I started a consistent exercise regime. I used to have to nap every day to make it through the day. I now find I don't need it anymore. I am feeling better about myself too! It just really feels good to be making so many positive changes.

I really had an awesome day today! It started with the scale moving down a pound *yipee*! I also checked all my measurements. In a month I have lost the following:
Waist -1"
Hips -2"
Chest -1.5"
Breast -0
Arms -0
Thighs -2
Calves -0
Ankle -3/4"
Wrist -1/2"

So - I guess that would be 7 3/4" total for 1 month and since I first started to exercise. I am pretty happy about that :D Did I mention, I love exercise

I also had some fun checking out my local health food stores /co-ops. Wow - they have some great things. I can wait to go back and stock my cupbards with grains and beans! It was sooo much cheaper than the grocery store!

I added in my third fruit yesterday - an orange. MMMMMM it was so very, very good. So far, no problems! Yay! I had one today already too and am doing fine with it.

I went out for a walk today and boy was I moving slow! I didn't get much sleep last night so I guess I was more tired than I thought. I did walk a different course than I usually do and there was much more uphill than I am used to!

I found out I was totaling my measurements incorrectly. I have always heard that you measure one side of your body and that is how you count how much you lost! Guess I heard wrong  So, if that is the case then my losses are as follows:
Waist -1"
Hips -2"
Chest -1.5"
Breast -0
Arms -0
Thighs -4
Calves -0
Ankles -1.5"
Wrists -1"

Or a total loss of 11 inches

Looks like you're doing great -- keep it up! I need to measure again soon, maybe in June. The scale is evil to me. But I bought a medium-sized sweater today, so it's all good!

Thanks again lorka! :D

The first time around was so different - I spent my days eating bean brownies and trying to replace all the sweet things I missed. It was an important step for me this time to realize that I needed to stop trying to replace things and completely change the way I eat!

Thanks for saying I have a good grasp on things. I have been trying to educate myself as much as possible. There are times when I feel like I don't know what I am doing - so it is always nice to hear from others that I am doing well!

I am worried I might be doing too much exercise too soon. The last 3x I have worked out I have just felt blah and yucky. Today I am just tired and feel off. Who knows - maybe I am getting sick! I am going to take the weekend off from exercise and let my body relax and recup.

Boy - I had a rough day today! I just haven't been feeling the best the last 3 days. At first I thought it was the flaxseed meal, but I am wondering if that is just a conincidence. I think I may either be getting sick or I have just been overly tired.

Today was the first day that I almost didn't finish my exercise. I went out for my walk, came home and started my strength training. Just into my second exercise I felt like giving up. This is not like me - I usually breeze through it. I just didn't feel up to it. I did finsh but didn't feel any better when I was done.

Then, there was the matter of one of my resistance bands breaking on me while I was using it. Thankfully I was not hurt, nor was my cat who was lying at my feel. It scared the heck out of me more than anything.

I have been more thirsty than normal too. I usually drink about 144 ounces of water a day. Today I have had 272 ounces - 2 gallons plus some!! I am not forcing it down either - I am genuinely thirsty

I don't know - maybe the warmer weather we are having is the cause. Whatever it is I am giving myself the weekend off from exercise and am going to just relax and take care of myself. I just hate feeling like this....so....blah

Here's hoping tomorrow is a better day!

Especially starting out, you should listen to your body. If it doesn't feel like exercising, you should take a rest. It also could be a reaction to the good carbs you're adding into your diet. Are you getting enough sleep? I hope you feel back to normal soon! And thanks for stopping by my journal!

Thanks DiamondSpark :)

I think I just had a few off days. I get 8 hours a night, but I did have one night this week that I only got about 6. I think maybe that was just enough to throw me off track. Combined with the hot weather my body just didn't want to move.

I do feel better today. I was headachy earlier but that disappeared after a little unplanned nap.

Like I said - I am feeling better today. I had some flax meal again in my smoothie and didn't get a headache this time and my bloating seems to have disappeared. Guess my body just needed to get used to the flax.

I had a nice relaxing day at home with hubby today. We were bums and sat on the couch and snuggled and watched tube all day. I thought about going to the pool since ours opened today (we live in an apartment complex) but just didn't feel like leaving the house. Maybe tomorrow or Monday since it is going to get even warmer! I was also thinking about trying to talk him into going to the movies tomorrow. We both want to see Over the Hedge - it looks hysterical and we have gift certificates from a friend in his office that he helped.

We may pop over to a friends house for a bit on Monday too - not really sure yet.

Man - what a great day we had today. We slept in a bit and snuggled together. Then we got up and had breakfast and went to the pool. It was the perfect day for it. Sunny and warm! We swam in the pool for a while and then just lounged by the side of it after that.

I brought my latest book with me to read - Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. I just started to read this series about a month ago. I just love it. I was skeptical because they are technically kids books. A good friend of mine talked me into checking them out. I am glad I did as they have been great to read!

We spent a few hours out there. When we came home we had our snacks and went to the store to grab a few things. When we got back I started dinner - a nice, big, yummy pot of chili!

We spent the night relaxing and just being together.
