Well, I finally got brave and went looking for a "before" pic of me. Usually, I'm behind the camera and not in front (I love photography), so pictures of me are sometimes few and far between. This is the closest to "before" that I could come up with...

Yippee! Another pretty face to put with a name... what an awesome smile you have there and such pretty eyes... Can't wait for the next pic!

lpcarlson, I understand about being the one behind the camera. I absolutely love it too!
I actually just took one of my cousin's senior pictures. They came out awesome!
Anyway when I did find a picture of me, boy it was a REAL eye opener! I'm 1/2 way there.
This is my favorite section of the site.
I anxiously await your update.

Thanks for the nice compliments, guys. I really see a difference in my face when I look in the mirror...not so round! I've also gone down 2 pants sizes since starting. I do go through major stalls for weeks at a time fairly often....I just keep telling myself: You're older, you've yo-yoed for years & it took years to pack it all on...it's going to take awhile to come off. Generally, I feel better, healthwise & self confidence wise.

Hmmm...thought I should update this nasty looking pic!
I've lost a total of 73 lbs since Feb 2007....I fell off the sb wagon in late 2006 due to depression after the loss of my MIL (had lost somewhere around 35-40 lbs at that point, I think...)
This is my most recent pic of me (and my dd, at her baptism at our church summer camp, late last month)
