It's the journey that matters, not the destination....

JANUARY 2006

Day One: January 9, 2006
Weight: 174.8 / 40% BMI
Goal: 135 / 18% BMI


Week 1 (1/9 - 1/15)
- started taking Holy Basil herbs to control Cortisol
Weight Loss: 1 lbs

Week 2 (1/16 - 1/22)

- went to Florida on business (1/21-24)
- while in FL cheated on chocolate, alcohol and grapes
Weight Loss: 3.5 lbs

Week 3 (1-23 - 1/29)
- started taking Green Tea pills
- joined a 100-day challenge
Weight Loss: 0.5 lbs (now at 170.8 )

February 2006

Week 1 (1/30 - 2/5)

- P2 transition
- added in quinoa & wine
- stopped taking birth control pills
Weight Loss: 0 lbs (no gain either)

Week 2 (2/6 - 2/12)

- joined Feb. "step it up" fitness challenge
- started pilates
- added in apples, blueberries, oats
- I need to watch my nuts; eating too many sometimes
Weight Loss: 3 lbs (Hello, 160s!)

Week 3 (2/13 - 2/19)

- added in ww pita, brown rice
- 2/13 we went out for Valentine's dinner; avoided the bread, but drank a few glasses of wine
Weight loss: 0.8 lbs

Week 3 (2/20 - 2/26)

- TOM
- tried ww pasta
- ate some white rice at a Brazillian restuarant. Not the whole serving, but about 1/2 of it...
Weight loss: 1 lbs.

March 2006
Turning 29 this month.
March SW: 166

Week 1 (2/27 - 3/5)

- added in a little dark chocolate (70% cocoa)
- totally avoiding nuts except peanut butter
- have a heart rate monitor now to boost exercise intensity
