Hi Misskt!! Yes what he says is really interesting. I think I will give it a try for a couple of weeks as well. (which has the added benefit of being when I get to see DBF ;) )

I tried the hour long workout yesterday on the elliptical and it ain't that easy to stay in the 60-80 range for an hour!!! So today I went to a spin class and kept a close eye on the heart rate monitor. I just didn't go as hard as she was saying to. Feelin good!!

Wt is at 143, and not fluctuating as much as before.

keep rockin skinnypeep! I am so envious you have time to attend a spinning class. I've never tried it, kind of wary of exercise bikes in a class setting because I always manage to hurt myself or fall off or something equally embarrassing when I ride my exercise bike.

Tits- to me spinning the best way cause I know if I show up I can't slack off. Also I tend to pick a bike in the last row and they often turn down the lights anyway. When I started spinning at Crunch (kind of a "cool" funky type of gym at least the ones in NYC) they turned the lights off and had blacklights like in clubs. Totally fun and you could really lose yourself. totally miss that.

Misskt- I really enjoy bootcamp. In fact I am signing up for round 2!!!

Let's see:
1. I find that it really helps me focus, and keeps SB at the forefront of what I am doing. For example if I am tired and just want to relax in front of the couch, I remember that I still need to get in 90 min of cardio for the week so I better get moving!

2. I certainly wouldn't remember to drink all the water I should if it weren't for bootcamp making it a "requirement".

3. You get to "know" people a little better and encourage each other. You feel proud when one of your squadmembers is doing well and losing. Or if someone else is stalled too you feel like you're in it together (though you can also get that from people you see a lot on the boards  )

So yeah, basically it helps me focus on the goal. And don't let it intimidate you- the last couple of months the exercise requirements for the week have been 90min strength, 90 cardio, 30 stretching. And I know you do at least that.
So come on down!!
