Tried the flaxseed pancakes before I couldn't take anymore eggs roflol. I WAS SHOCKED! It was so odd that pancakes could come out of that gunk! And taste ok. That tells me that I need to try more recipes even tho they "sound"out of their minds!

WEnt to Costco and got a great big PIZZA for the kids. It was one of my things to do when we went shopping to get a slice of cheese pizza. I got a ceasar salad and I WAS OK!!!!!! I didn't even want that slimey greasy pizza. WOW amazing days!! I got some sf pudding I hope was ok. I think it ok. it did have some hydrolyzed gunk in it but I don't eat much of that so I think I will be ok. I am hitting the wall on ricotta cremes. I got to do something diff. I am soooo looking forward to fruit. Sooo looking forward to my oatmeal!! Monday is the DAY!!

HEY YELLO! How is P1 after all these years?

On the prophetic team after church tomorrow. Sometimes I don't get home until 2:30 3:00. I have to figure that one out!!

I love flaxmeal pancakes better then real ones. I get mine from the health food store. flaxmeal pancake mix. there is no wheat or gluten in them.

glad you liked them. You really need to try things before you know if you like them or not. especially with veggies. I use to hate eggplant. now I love it. even found a way to make brussle sprouts. :D roast them. it's the only way!

finding new recipies is fun! :D

Hey Paradigm--Have you done all your shopping for the big day on Monday...moving to Phase 2!! You must be thrilled. What are you going to try to add first? I am so going to try flaxseed pancakes. What do you have with them?

I got the recipe off the recipe thread and they had a mix of cottage cheese and ricotta cheese with cinnamon and sweetener. I gotta say I was surprised!!

Ohhh yeah I sure did go shopping. I am going to hit my oatmeal. That is what I missed the most for breakfast. I think I am going to try the oatmeal pancake. I have to remember to add veggies(trusty V8 lol) and protein.

I went out to eat today and wow stayed beachy even with my fav spcial french fries in my face. I passed the test!!! Yahoo. Even my hubby said that He thinks that THIS time it will work. I am impressed to say the least. My mom is raving about the diet and got religious on me roflo. trying to convert my DB and SIL. Haha nice try LOL perhaps they will get jealous LOL!!

Gotta run having our first children's leadership prayer meeting at my house tomorrow 9 am sharp!! Clean clean clean!!!

Paradigm--Glad you got to go shopping and can add oats back in to your diet. I love them, too. I found out, though, that more than a 1/2 cup cooked was too much for me and made me have cravings. Maybe you will do better.

I am going to pick up the stuff for flaxseed pancakes for next week. I am really, really looking forward to trying those, but dh is not. He believe that there is some kind of ricotta cartel behind SB because so many recipes call for it! :D

Good luck as you start P2!

Hi Paradigm,
Glad this woe is working for you!!! Once you get used to it everything will come easier for you and then you will get into the habit of eating all the right foods. Let me know how you like the oatmeal pancake. I haven't tried that one yet.

thumbs down on the oatmeal pancake. AND I think that maybe it caused cravings. I ate an apple concotion I did too. It is like I get all hot after eating and my heart beat speeds up. I dont remember feeling like that after a P1 meal. Hmmm. I have to experiment.

Gonna try to find a lighter version of the pancake otherwise going back to the plain oatmeal. I was't hungry but it may have been a factor in the cravings. I did have an ounce of dark choc today. Hit the spot and not craving it. It could be pms tho.

I am official at a loss of 6.5 on P1. I was hoping for more but I sure am satisfied with anything.

GOt the P2 jitters tho. Wondering if this would keep up even with the food changing. I have to have faith!!

Your symptoms perfectly describe a bad reaction for me....hot flushes and heart palpitations. This happens with strawberries, penaut butter, etc. Try plain oats again and then see what happens. I was soo sad to give up strawberries.

I was going to start exercising but I feel a little under the weather today. I thought my blood sugar was low and I needed to eat but that didn't help. Just a space cadet today
