Busy shifting my paradigm today. It seems to be all in the attitude! Thanks for all your replies girls, ladies etc... what ever you like to be called.
Have an excrutiating headache today. I suspect it could be the weather. Should be snowing but it is cold and rainy and DARK!!!
I am hopeful today that this will work. I know too much about eating. No one should know as much as I do and be so fat!! How many of you are experts like meeee?? It all seems logical!!
My kids asking me if I am staying on the diet. Real food seems to be the key. I had sirloin burger with sauteed mushrooms and onions and a salad with Italian dressing. It was really good. The family got pot roast. The kids were salivating over my meal roflol. Perhaps I will just make one meal???
I am going to try to make parmesean chicken tonite. I figure if I dip it in egg and parmesean cheese and lightly fry then bake it will be fine. Topped with SBD friendly sauce and lf mozzarella.
PTL for letting ranch dressing be on the woe. sheww that would be hard for me!! I don't like much so it goes far for me.
Ohhhh found a new fave. Dipping veggies in hummous. I LOVE IT. I want to try baba ganoush(sp?) Something to dip in helps me out IMMENSELY to get in my veggies!!! Hooray!!!
I am a former "won't eat my veggies" person. FORMER. I am rearranging my thinking.
All that I ate even tho is was good is ooo opposite this WOE. SO since I was fat I do believe I am going to be thin. It has to be an answer.!!! Mom doing well too!! I am going over her house to make soup day. We will split it. We are going to make our version of cabbage soup. Remember the cabbage soup diet??? Well we liked the soup. We are going to add some hamburger and some beans. It is good but DH CANNOT stand the smell of cabbage in the house. So off to mom's!!
Ohh I just found a cool recipe posted here. I thought I would share. I havent tried it yet cuz it aint P1 friendly. But sooooonnnnnnn........
Apple Pita Pie
One baking apple peeled and sliced
1/8-1/4 tsp cinnamon
One packet Splenda
One Whole Wheat Pita
1 tsp Smart Balance margarine
In small bowl, mix apple cinnamon and sweetener. Slice open pita bread and stuff with apple mixture. Drop margarine in several small pieces into pita. Wrap pita in foil. Bake at 350º for 35-40 minutes. Enjoy!
Use splenda and butter to taste
I suppose you could make a compote on it too. I like Flat out brand Pita but I dont know if there is one that is SBD friendly... Hmmm the possiblities. Blueberries yum!!!
One of my fav snacks before SBD was sliced bananas and walnuts mixed, mashed together. Reminiscent of banana bread batter... Did I say that?? Hmm confessed batter junkie here.
I love coming here and looking for new things to try!!! Keeps it exciting for meeeee!!
