Hi psg! Welcome to the beach!
You stay energized all day long because you love what you do and it is your passion in life!
Or . . . you get plenty of sleep, exercise in the morning before work, take your vitamins, and avoid eating sugar and processed crap, which causes your blood sugar to do nosedives all day long!
Just a suggestion on your skiing weekend . . . bring your own food and eat it, no matter whether your friends tease you or not. If you want to get off to a good start, that would be the way to go. Start standing up for what you believe in.
Ideas for P1 foods to bring: tuna and salmon in the pouch; boiled eggs; cheese sticks; nuts; cottage cheese; plain yogurt; pre-cooked chicken strips; etc. Lunch meat would be OK w/o the bread; just roll it up in a lettuce leaf spread w/mustard and/or mayo. No chips. Get some pickles. I would eat lunch meat and cheese again for dinner, or just scrape the topping off the pizza. It's probably not ideal but it'll do in a pinch. Bring some SF hot cocoa, that sounds yummy after a day of skiing!
You'll be proud of yourself for sticking to your new eating plan and it may just become a lifestyle for you and not just another hollow NY resolution! Good luck, I'll be checking on you to see how you come out!
