I posted this seperately then thought it should go here as well! Here's my original post (with one modification):
Hey everyone! I started this last night and we just had it for dinner tonight. Everyone ate it, even my pickiest eater... The most difficult thing about this recipe was smelling it cooking all day and NOT eating it. ( Okay, I did have to stir it several times!)
24 Hour Turkey Bbq
5 lb turkey breast
2 cups water or
broth (suggested by lisalc98

)
seasoning
1 bottle (or 2-3 cups homemade) bbq sauce (of your choice)
On the evening before, rince and pat turkey breast dry. Sprinkle with a little poultry seasoning and seasoning salt. Put in crockpot (here's where I realized my small crockpot was too small, fortunately, I have some super strong cooking scissors and managed to cut off the end and get it to fit .) Pour over 2 cups liquid and cook on low 10-12 hours.
Next day, pour contents into strainer over a large bowl (now you have turkey stock for soup!) Seperate meat from bones and skin and such. Put meat in cleaned crockpot with bbq sauce. Cook on low 6-8 hours or on high 3 hours. Stirring randomly.
Serve in SB good rolls, rollups, on salad, etc.
