Jasmine - I'm 5'7'' and I started on the beach in July 18th of this year. Before I started the beach I managed to loose 5lbs on my own but it was a struggle. My weight fluctuates up and down so much but I was getting tired of that and I wanted to get and stay healthy for the long haul. At one point in time I ballooned up to 264 lbs and lost the majority of it following the Weight Watchers guidelines. I got down to about 215 and stopped attending the meetings and just tried to continue it on my own. I work out with weights a lot so I carry a lot of muscle weight. Their idea of making my goal was to be 154lbs and that to me would be too small. Right now I am 197lbs and my friends can't believe I weigh that much just from looking at me. My mom thinks I look good now and asked how much more I am going to loose! I will try to reach my end goal of 165 by the end of next year but I may stop before then. I'm not sure.
My DBF (who is a size 30 in the waist) and I have been dating for over 2 years and he loves to dine out all the time. That made it tough to follow the WW program but EASY to follow SBD. It doesn't feel like a diet anymore and I just love the progress my body has made.
