11/25/04 - Thanksgiving Day - 170
11/30/04 - Tuesday after Thanksgiving (and Jason's b-day weekend) - 175
12/7/04 - back down to 171 - ate a veggie & protein breakfast, salad every day for lunch starting 11/29
Mini-goal: 169 by 12/31/04

Reaching this mini-goal is going to be tough. I'm going to Atlanta next week, 12/15 to see my mom. My sis is going with me. We're going to stay for 4 nights. My mom makes awesome fried chicken! And she's told me on the phone that I sound too skinny. I'm going to do my best but I'm also not going to suffer, KWIM? I don't get to see her very often and I'm going to enjoy myself. SBD is so ingrained into me that I don't even worry about being able to jump right back on when I get back.

I may decide to do Phase 1 again starting in January. My husband has said he wants to go back on the diet; we could do Phase 1 together. But who knows whether he'll stick to it better this time than last time? I tried to do Phase 1 for a few days after we got back from our vacation in July (when I gained 9 lb in a week!) and it wasn't so easy. I was missing my muffins and stuff. I can do without the fruit, but man, don't take away my grains!

And then there's the whole topic of exercise. I walk around the neighborhood after work when I can, but that's all I do. I'd like to get into some kind of home workout (don't want to shell out the money for Curves, even though there is one close to my house) but getting started is the hardest part. I asked my sis to get me some Pilates stuff for Christmas, but I don't know if she'll get it for me or not. What I need to do is get my butt up out of bed at 6:00 and work out until 7:00. But oh how I love to sleep! I get my best sleep right befire it's time to wake up (7:00 a.m. for me). This morning I was having a wonderful dream about meeting Sting and the Police; it was funny!

My body has gotten comfortable at this weight, I haven't really gone down since the end of Sept. I need more exercise to kick it into gear again. I sure would love to lose these last 20 lb. I haven't weighed that since I got married in 1992. I've got to find out what's right for me, get myself into the habit, and then just keep on keeping on.
