I was walking around today, feeling my pants TOO tight and just feeling down about that... and I decided I've had enough of this crap! So I went to the grocery store, bought lots of yummy beachy food, made a fresh batch of black bean brownies, cut up lots of celery and veggies for my omelettes and salads, and I'm ready for a great, healthy P1 week. I love making that decision to DO something and then making it happen. YAY us!!!! We can do this. I wish there were a cheerleader smiley!!!!

Lisa, I'll take that entry as a cheerleader smiley 8) You are absolutely correct that it feels awesome to make the decision and do it! I'll be right here cheering you on and wishing you a wonderful SB P1 week

DH and I are on day 6 of P1 and it's getting kinda hectic  We both woke up this morning wanting a mimosa but decided to hit the gym instead!! I do a class at my gym then go over to his gym to swim and get in the jacuzzi/sauna as we don't have that at my gym. It was a good day and we didn't eat BUT did some good things in lieu. We 'planned' our lunches and dinners this week...those who know me know that is very difficult for me. DH is grilling homemade burgers, I made a batch of chicken salad w/ tarragon, red onion and celery plus I put some homemade chili on in the crock pot for tomorrow's dinner (and whatever other meal it may fulfill, lol). Even made GrammaK's ricotta, peanut butter mix that can be topped w/ ff cool whip but that'll be desert for tomorrow; it's better the next day! I've got greek yogurt, eggs w/ pico de gallo, canadian bacon and turkey links in mind for breakfast. We're covered until Wednesday, thinking of making tuna salad and stir-fry for Thursday then we're leaving for Ft. Wayne Friday but can take the tuna for lunch, make some lettuce wraps. Wait...did I just plan my ENTIRE week of meals out people???!! YES I DID :D  8)

I've gotta teach at 6:15a in the morning so logging what was consumed today and signing off. As soon as I'm back in the habit of coming back here, I'm going to hit journals like old times. All my Love  :D

b/l - rotisserie chicken
d - sirloin/lamb burgers to be topped w/ ff cheese, lettuce, tomato w/ grilled asparagus spears squirt w/ lime

Forgot to log a days food:
6.2.12
b - eggs, pico de gallo, turkey link
l/d - pork tenderloin, pinto beans
s - nuts, sf twists 6, sf reese cup 2
Exercise: None

Lisa, DH isn't overweight so while it's great he's doing it with me, he doesn't 'have' to like I do. I still appreciate him being by my side as this has been not so easy for me even though i've been through it already. You'll be back to shakin' a tailfeather in no time and need to allow yourself time to heal. If you don't, you're just going to injure yourself again and cause more damage...had to learn that myself the hard way!

Today is day 8 and it's getting more difficult to resist alcohol   I'm doing it but I could sure use even a glass of wine. The food is good as I've planned the week out and loving what I've made! And while I want to put the chicken salad I made on either some bread or crackers, I haven't. My ring is rolling so hoping that I'll lose a few lbs by next week. I am probably going to have a few cocktails this weekend so DH and I decided to take our Beaching until next Friday to offset any damage done over this weekend but ending before the following weekend. The eating while down there will be fine so may not be as bad but know we're not supposed to have any alcohol.

Getting ready to head home for the day but wanted to make sure I got in here to log food so I don't forget...again  Wishing you all a wonderful Tuesday and see you as we stoll the Beach 8) :D

Hey Wanda-

So happy to see you here again...this is the best place to get back on track.

I gained about 15 pounds last fall and in January I got back on track and got rid of those pounds. It did take about 9 weeks with 2 weeks of PI to start. I still try to eat one meal PI each day. That seems to help me more than anything. (usually lunch)

Take care,
Mary Ann
