So, I know. I KNOW! we're not looking at the calories...right???

It's day two...I also track my foods on myfitnesspal.com, because it is the closest to a food journal I get. My fitness pal wants me to be at 1300 calories a day, and being on plan I'm at 16-1800.

I am eating on plan though, completely!!! It's just that that tb of olive oil, that 3-4 oz of meats, those eggs...add up and I was feeling a bit of cognitive dissonance.

Forget calories!!!! (right?) :?

I know it is hard! Are you working out? I wouldn't worry about it too much unless you do not see a drop on the scale in a week. Then I would back off a bit.0

Yesh, I had grand aspirations of working out this week, but a combination of work getting in the way and feeling a bit off from P1 means, aside from a yoga class this weekend, I'll be taking it easy until P2 starts in a week and a half.

I got on the scale yesterday (day 2) and had dropped a lb, but I'm not counting it until I'm at the week point, so we'll see.

It's just weird to be up calorie wise, but you know, the only way I can get under 1300 is to skip a meal, eat lean cuisines for lunch and dinner..which is definitely a DIET, not a lifestyle change

Nope, no calorie counting. If it helps, I was getting about 1500 calories and still was losing weight with SB and moderate exercise. I had to stop counting calories and stepping on the scale more than once a week though because that will do a mind job on a person, let me tell ya. Put the scale away except on one specific day each week and be sure to take your measurements. At the beginning, my measurements told a truer story of my weight loss than the scale did.

don't count the calories!! don't fret the oil. You need a certain amount of fat to burn calories effectively. Cutting them will impede your progress.
