Anyone starting (or re-starting) P1 May26?

So I've fallen off the plan for a while now, and tried several times to restart, but obviously its been so long I forgot my username :?

I'm getting hitched march of next year, and really would like to get back on plan! I don't have a scale, but my clothes are tight-ish.

I will be out of the country for about a week, and hope to start in full force Sat May 26-that means P1 again to ditch the carb cravings I have, buying a scale (ugh) and actually hitting the gym I pay for!

Anyone on the same time table who wants to check in for support?

I'm 5'4" (well, 5'3" and a half :) ) and when I was last at the doc a few weeks ago I weighed in at 139. In an ideal world, I'd like to revisit 125 and see how I feel there. Once I get a scale I'll set up a tracker.

congradulations on getting married. Let me know when you start. We are same height, almost same weight, I'm 150 lbs but probably older at 57!

I will also be restarting May 28th so I will be a few days behind you :) I would like to lose about 10lbs 15 would be amazing!

Hi Lindey and Karensue!

Yay! I just got back in town today and will be headed to the store to stock up on SB friendly foods, and am looking forward to getting back to this WOL, especially as a team :D

I've been in Israel for a few days for my lil bro's graduation and just saw pics of me (ugh) so it is definitely past due...I did come home with a few additions to the meal roster though:

Shakshuka: eggs poached in spicy tomato sauce (num num, hopefully without the pita)

Israeli salad (chopped cucumbers, tomatos, parsley, olive oil, lemon, onion)

and of course, hummus!

Let me know if you want the recipes I've found, or if you want to share some for the first week. I love to cook, my challenge will be making things SB friendly for me with additions to keep the fiancé from eating his own arm ;)

I am also looking to start may 26! I am in real need of some motivation right now. I have an event coming up June 9th and I would love love to loose 6lbs or so. I am 5'2" and always fighting with 5-10lbs. I've been trying on my own and I'm not getting anywhere. I think I even gained weight. I was thinking that some support and accountability would really help! Cleaning out the fridge tomorrow.

Hello, I would love to join you all.

Desperate in need of support and motivation. Came back from Europe where I gained heaps of weight and for some reason the weight continued to pile on, haha. Yes my will power is weak :(

If it's ok I will start on the 27th May. Going to going shopping this afternoon to get everything for Phase 1 :D

I am 5'6", 175lb, looking to get down to somewhere between 120-125lbs

I hope we are all able to support each other through this journey :D

I am starting today, May 26. I am 5'5" and weighed 188.8 this morning. This is the heaviest I have ever been. Along with kick-starting this new way of eating, I also want to start running again. I'm looking forward to this!

Good morning

How is everyone going? Disney RN and Buttbegone how was your first day?
I start mine today, my biggest problem will be drinking the 8 glasses of water. During weekends if I start feeling hungry I think to stop the cravings I will get out of the house and go for a walk.

I hope everyone had a great day1!!
I will be starting Tuesday, I wanted to start tomorrow but we are going to a cookout at the in-laws and I do not know what will be on the menu but we are bringing fruit salad so I figured I would snack on that while they have chips and smore's!
My hubby is starting with me and I could not be happier!! It was SO much easier when he did it with me years ago. The only difference is this time we have a 6year old with her treats in the house! I am trying to limit what I buy for her and get her to eat the healthier things. I told her this summer is diet boot camp!
We went to Costco yesterday and stocked up for P1. Lots of cheese, veggies and meat. Although, I do not do a whole lot of dairy. Maybe a greek yogurt or string cheese a few times a week.
My biggest issues will be
1) veggies in the morning-I usually want something sweet so I make flaxseed pancakes with turkey bacon. I am not sure about v-8, so much soduim and other added crap, even in the low soduim. I wish I had a juicer!
2) nuts! I can NOT stick to one serving! and if I have flaxseed pancakes in the morning there goes my nut allowance for the day :( I always forget about that! I sometimes end up having 3 servings which is not helping my weight at all!!
Can't wait to start with everyone!
That cucumber salad sounds amazing!! How do you make it? and we LOVE hummus, bought a big tub of it at Costco :)

Hi all!

Yeah, I reevaluated-I'm starting tomorrow May 28. With welcome home festivities, and this weekend of beee-utiful weather here in AZ there have been so many last minute cookouts that I figure tomorrow is a better start date. I've done pretty well though with start date in mind, bringing SB friendly stuff as my potluck contribution.

Yesterday I brought an israeli veg salad (small chopped persian cucumbers, small chopped tomatoes, onion, lemon juice, olive oil, and parsley) and will be adding that to my meal plans.

I also recruited one of my friends to start with me, she and I share an office too, so it will be helpful motivation.

Today I'm setting up the food list and meal plan, as well as shopping list, for both of us. Any favorite P1 meals you have enjoyed or plan to enjoy? It helps me to know exactly what I'll be eating all day-I'm less likely to slip up that way :)

Karensue I tend to agree with you, not all that keen on vegetables for breakfast. I am having Greek fatfree yoghurt or eggs instead. I did however buy the individual packs of V8 in case I got desperate.

Are we all going to stick with Phase for 2 weeks?

Hi all, I'd love to join in too! I started on the 26th and heading into day 3. I did SB about 6 years ago and maintained for quite a while but the last couple years fell off the wagon so here I am - highest weight currently 174lbs - 5'6" - goal between 140-145 (42 years old)! Some of the things that I ate last time like hard boiled eggs and v8 I'm having a hard time with this round...but so far getting enough other veggies so we'll see and just scramling eggs. I used to be very active and doing better since starting this again - hope to get fit again too!

MaxBerlin I am doing P1 for the full 2 weeks :) Taking measurements tomorrow too.
Is anyone else also working out during P1? I do strength training for 30 minutes 4 times a week followed by 30-60 min cardio 5 times a week.
