I am feeling a lot better about myself and a lot more positive in general.
Managed to plan out what I need to do and save over summer.
I'm actually really enjoying this diet :)

:D That is so Nice to hear. Me Too.
For me, the Beach is like the Flowers in a story from when I was a kid, about a crazy recluse woman who lived amid chaos and despair. Somehow she got a delivery of flowers, probably delivered to the wrong address or something. She put them in a vase. But then she had to clean off the table, because the mess didn't look good next to the flowers. Then she opened her curtains so she could see them better, and had to wash the windows. Then she felt like washing her hair. Then she remembered her favorite dress and washed and ironed it because it went with the flowers. And so on and so on until pretty soon she'd cleaned her whole house and went into the town, for more flowers. Silly, innit?

That is a really beautiful way of putting it.

So I have some goals that I want to lose weight for:

-I am going to be a bridesmaid next July and I don't want to look like a whale in a dress
-I'm getting married in 2015 so I DEFINITELY need to lose the weight by then
-I want to go swimming and not worry what I will look like in a swimming costume
-I want to be fitter in general
-I want to be able to run for long distances, maybe enter some competitions
-I want to be able to wear actual clothes instead of just sweat pants all day every day
-I want confidence to be able to do what I want

Its nice to be able to have something to aim towards.

My mini goal is 250lbs which is 16.8lbs away. I didn't realise how close it was!

I felt my collar bones today. For the first time in a long while. :)
Need to go food shopping today for some more stuff.
Breakfast time I think.
Hope everyone is doing good

Hi, Nicole! Welcome to the SB journal gang! I think that since you like veggies so much, this program will not be so hard for you. The challenge is finding things that are quick to prepare and delicious, and there are plenty of them. We all, for the most part, try and avoid packaged processed stuff when we can. I try and have small bags of nuts on hand (I repackage them from larger containers) to take with me when I'm out of the house. They're great because they don't need refrigeration and you can buck them in a jacket pocket and eat them one at a time without people noticing most of the time. They're my stealth snack - even munching on them in a museum once - shhh, don't tell!

Probably one of the most inspiring people on this board is OnaMi - check out her journal, she's made an amazing journey. She's young, beautiful (inside and out!), and one of the sweetest people on this board.

Oh, I really like your goals. I like that they are both far and soon and physical and mental. You've attained one already :D

Hey everyone! How are y'all doing today?
Didn't lose any weight today but that's good considering I didn't gain any weight because... I'm on my period, sorry for the info guys :P and I normally gain around 7lbs from it.

I did my hair in a pin up style today with a bandana around my head. Got a couple compliments so that was an ego boost!
I'm trying to help my boyfriend get a job. Stressful.
I start my job soon! Just need to call them up as I got my phone back today!
I'm terrified, I work as a part time carer for elderly people and people with dementia, but i've never done it before.
I want to learn to drive this summer. I worked out that is around £3,000 give or take including lessons, tests, car and insurance, that I would need to earn by then. It is possible, I would just need to juggle things around a lot as I want to join a gym over the summer too.

Do you mean, like Rosie the Riveter?
I'm doing fine today, a little lazy but it's sunday so I forgive me.
Good luck with your job. I hope you get the nicest old people.
And the charmingly demented.

Hey Nicole-

Don't be afraid of your new job. I am sure you will get the training that you will need and if you don't understand anything...ask questions! A smile and a cheerful manner will go a long way with everyone. My mother had Alzheimer's and she lived with my family for three and a half years until she passed away last fall. Most of the time she was very happy and child-like. I am not an expert-but you can ask me anything.

You are doing a great job with your weight. Take one day at the time and you will reach your goals.

Thanks Mary Ann :)
How is everyone today?
I haven't lost anything today but that's okay.
I'm in a good mood. Might have an interview for a second job soon.
Also got my application for university sent off.
That's a few loads off of my chest. :D
My OH might have to repeat this year of uni as he missed the deadline for one of his assignments due to family problems.
He is freaking out. :(
