Week Six Wrap Up
The scale says I lost 3 lbs this week, which goes to show exaggeration runs in the family. I'm not losing 3lbs a week and wouldn't even want to, I'd be hungry . That makes a total of about 14 lbs since starting P1 5 weeks ago. Note to self next week: Last week was a zig, don't sweat the zag

That's what I said LAST WEEK.

Would you like to see the tooth marks on my ass?

The three pounds came BACK (Making Mikey 4 lengths ahead of me on the backstretch, oy) this week.

Six weeks, about 11 pounds, maybe a little more, I'm not positive about my start weight.

But it's okay. I still feel puffy and bloated compared to last week, lost some wedding ring slide ground. I think I'm eating fine, except for my chocolate. I feel good, eating well, sleeping more, exercising, getting back some muscle in my R leg. Remind myself daily what OnaMi says: Focus, Mind right, Just Keep Going. :D

You can relax into your stride on the back stretch.... a horse named Unholy Toledo has me backing up into the rest of the field....

Now I know why your shirt was still crisp at the evening meeting. You got the clean one out of your drawer because of the pizza spot. I appreciate your making that effort, though. The all-day soft white shirt look only works on the Obamaesque physique. I always say a Really well pressed shirt takes 20 lbs off a man.
Thanks for the onion tip. Tiddley pip!

Actually I keep a fresh suit and tie and two shirts at the office for just such emergencies. There are also socks in my drawer (black and brown) and two pairs of dress shoes under the desk. Razors, deoderant, toothbrush, paste, all the things one needs for the unexpected all nighter. 8)

Well done, maybe even a bit metrosexual for Richmond, but then you do have those lingering Sweet tendencies from Transylvania. :D

Just scrolled back and reread your post about the dog and chocolate. Chefk (think it was her) almost lost her dog last year when he got into chocolate. Chocolate is very toxic for dogs. Maybe a trip to the vet is in order!

Beaching-Thanks! Don't dance on that foot until it gets ALL better!
Chris- I know, unfortunately. This was not wm's first time finding chocolate, although it was certainly his best effort. The old cocker-fool actually pushed a chair across the floor and climbed onto the counter and got it out of the kitchen cabinet. Which I left open. We're doing all we can.

What an awesome job bethy, you're doing GREEEEAAAT! Kinda saw myself as tony the tiger there, -shudder- It wasnt pretty so i suggest you not do it. You've gotten to the point and past it where a lot of this becomes actual instinct to pick the right thing instead of wrong, its that first month to month and a half you really have to pay attention. Sounds like quite the smart dog. Vodka is my drink of choice, though i tend to drink it straight as its just a waste of time in other mixtures.

I can't help it, Tony! My vodka's also STRRRRAAIIGHT! (with a splash of olive juice). I think I'll have some, maybe not for breakfast, maybe next week.

This is the part where im like oh wow that sounds good, but no not really. There are two foods i hate, ham...and any type of olive. Even the smell of olives i hate, ive had a pizza place put anchovies on my pizza and i still eat it but if there is olives on it i wont even pick them off because in my mind i can taste the olive juices left behind, i make them redo it  Besides that though, i almost never am a bad customer!

Gosh Jeff, it's a good thing they didn't put olives on your pizza the night you went on the date-from-hell with the send-it-back PITA girl. Y'all might have bonded and ended up married!

Week 7 7 7 7 7 7

b-half chicken breast, about 2T Bb, tsp tahini sauce, a little Toum and a bunch of cucumber slices. Cucumber Slices for breakfast! Who AM I anyway?
s-continuing my quest for malty goodness, I put a tablespoon of carnation malted milk powder (wheat, not whole, and barley flour, def not beachy) vanilla, 6 oz plain yogurt, and a cup of milk in the blender. Drank half of it. DEElicious. Felt VERY evil, just like a milkshake . Half an hour later my stomach was making crazy noises like I'd swallowed the blender too. I got scared and made a huge lunch to squash it down in case it gives me cravings .
L-big spinach/lettuce salad w/ parmesan, red onions, half a hb patty, o+v.
s-slice of greek spinach bake. made another one. better this time.
S-Anatomy feast-half a hamburger on half a slice whole rye with mustard and shallots. About 1.5 cups roasted cauliflower w/ cumin and 1 Tb. tahini sauce.
Wine! 1.5 glasses and a rectangle of dark chocolate.

Plan- Declaring it be nice to Bethy day! Please send presents in lieu of making charitable donations. The dog looks like he's going to live, he's eyeballing my plate from his sickbed. I'm going to make a big batch of roasted cauliflower with tahini sauce for Grey's Anatomy night and invite DCLissa and Sharley and anybody else who really cares about Christina or has a burning desire to see Mark and Lexie back together over to watch and help me eat it. The cauliflower, I mean, help me eat the cauliflower. (I know, Lissa, you have to work but this is MY fantasy so you get a call saying they don't need you. Bring the Recliner!)
