Well, even if we veer from the SBD way of eating, I hope they'll let us stay here. I love this message board, the wonderful folks here, and I have nothing but great things to say about SBD. Plus, my journal goes back several years and I like having access to the memories of my weight loss (and sometimes gain

) journey.
For me, going the vegan route feels philosophically right as well as physically healthy. My daily menu consists of about 90% unprocessed foods. I really like the idea of eating plants as close to their natural, organic state as possible. I'm eating huge raw salads, veggie soups, lots of beans, and raw nuts and seeds.
Every once in a while I do lose control though. Last night, for example, I ate about half a bag of Easter chocolates and promptly fell asleep on the couch. But this morning I ate a huge salad of shredded cabbage, leeks, golden beets, carrots, spring lettuces, cucumber, beans, and about a tablespoon of Annie's Goddess dressing. Feelin' groovy.

Sharley, if you want further info about plant-based eating, send me a PM and I'll tell you where I've gotten my information. Although I know everyone's goal on the board is that we each find our own routes to good health, I'm guessing the mods here would prefer that I not accidentally derail anyone's SBD efforts by throwing a wrench in the wonderful WOE that is promoted on this board.
