Uh, oh, Lisa! Looks like you've gone missing. Are you locked into the gym forced to do Body Jam endlessly? Seriously, hope all is well. I know it's hard to keep up with the flurry of posts here, but it's been a blast. Especially after so many months of barely a hello!!

Hi everyone, wow it's busy in here... I've been reading everyone elses journal and neglecting my own.

Judi, sorry to hear about all the border issues. I'll check your journal but I know from FB that everything is okay now.

Michelle, I'll have to check that story out. Thanks!

Hi Bethy & Chris !!

So this week has been busy with life. I don't know if I told you all that I hurt my foot before my vacation, so it's still hurting and cardio dance classes make it hurt more. So I went for an x-ray and that said no fracture, so I went to my dr and she diagnosed it as plantar fasciitus - common foot condition, so NO MORE Zumba, BodyJam or anything that's high-impact side-to-side motion until it's better...  :(

Good news is I can still do spinning, my gym has a pool, so I can swim, and I can do yoga, etc. Sucks but last week when I went to my BodyJam class, I paid the price for days after...

Anyway, other than that, it's all good. Just hanging out enjoying some nice weather this weekend. My weight is UP for no apparent reason so I'm just ignoring that, and moving along. Hope you're all doing well.

Hi, Lisa! Glad you're OK - that foot will heal up in no time - check out some exercises for it online. I had a touch of it at one point - think it was a specific pair of shoes and not stretching after exercise that triggered it.

I'm not even getting on the scale this week - 2 days of sneaking brownies and pasta last night. Today I'm pulling out my beans for breakfast and trying to stick to the plan!!

Beautiful weather here, too. Enjoy being outside!

Hi Lisa

Don't push that foot, good that you have some alternatives! Our pool opens Mem day, I am already swimming in my mind!!!!!

DS is home and now we have to get a real passport for him. and me too- expired the same week :(

Turns out, a patient of mine's wife works here at the Canadian consulate, of course, I didn't think of her- I though of YOU! You can tell who is near and dear to me.

I am going to try to skip the scale too- had a LOT of water today, probably means I ate too much salt, turns out that one quart of water= 2lbs. I drank probably that much at least.
Or is that just a good excuse?....

Hope your repeat P1 goes easy. I love fruit too much, otherwise, I am doing almost P1 all the time (when I am "good").

Have a good week!

Lisa, i agree with everyone else and i feel your pain. My wrist is actually painfully sore during my weightlifting due to injuring it in the past and ignoring the pain, didnt go to the doctor and i still dont know why it hurts sometimes. I probably do have to go at one point but i tend to wrap it up and hope for the best. I was going to post lots more but i have a meeting to go to, will try to catch up more later, stay strong! AND STAY OFF THAT FOOT lol

Yah it’s hard to listen to reason and stay away from my super fun classes!! When I’m doing the class, I don’t think about the foot. Probably because the endorphins are going and I’m so happy!! It’s after that SUCKS! So, I did stay away all weekend, and it feels ok but not great. I’m going to hot yoga in a few minutes, and will spin twice this week. I will see how it is this weekend but I KNOW I should give it at least another full week before resuming. Blah! :(

So today I woke up feeling heavy and knowing that I have to smarten up so I’m really thinking about what I’m eating today, drinking extra water, and will skip any non-beachy food, one day at a time. Here’s hoping for a happy, healthy, beachy week for all of us!!

Thanks for the water reminder! I'm way behind on that today. Poor Foot. Take care of it and try to hold it perpendicular to your leg when you're asleep, it's easy!

So I didn't listen to my foot today because it was the NEW RELEASE party for the new BodyJam class at the gym today after work. So I went and my foot is telling me off right about now. This is why I'm so addicted. Watch this 40 second teaser:

and this track 9 in the routine:

Super fun!! Anyway, really really good eating week. Lots of water, no carbs until dinner, have hit the gym EVERY day after work. Tomorrow I plan to do hot yoga and swim after. I have the afternoon to myself - yay!!!!

Hoping you are all doing well. I will check in with you all this weekend.

Hey Lisa, just wondering how your last few days were going and how your foot is holding up. Hope you're not doing too much too soon!
