Thanks, Jeff! I will be eating SB the rest of the day. The only thing I'm planning on for a treat/cheat is my cheesecake on Sunday, and my absolutely P2 legal dark chocolate and some nice red wine.

It's after 8, Trader Joe's is open, so I'm off in search of lf cheese and other treats. Then my Sam's Club run. Brought my cooler bag. If I'm driving 50 miles and spending money on the gas, I try and make the trip worthwhile.

Enjoy your morning!

Spent the morning shopping, afternoon taking a nap and goofing off, lol! Bought myself an Easter plant to pretty up the house!
No exercise. Will make up for that tomorrow, energy permitting.
B: Panera heart attack on a plate
L: pea soup/salad w blue cheese
D: veggie/lf swiss omelet/a huge pile of snap peas/wine
Snacks: none this morning after that fiasco breakfast! Evening: banana/yogurt
Teats: 2 dark choc easter eggs, 2 malted milk eggs
More wine :D

Those malted milk eggs aren't nearly as good as the chocolate ones, more sugary than chocolatey. Maybe I'll stay away from them and concentrate on the real dark chocolate eggs.

hey Chris, it's hard to keep the chocolate at bay on Easter weekend. I'm more motivated this year because of my son and the changes we're making here to eat healthier as a family. Still, those tiny cadbury eggs in a little bag keep making their way into our house...  Hope your shopping trip was successful! I'm sneaking out for an hour over lunch to do my fun gym class.

A pretty Easter morning here. Not as warm as I'd like it to be, but at least there's no snow!!!

Being a slug this weekend, no exercise and too many chocolate and malted milk eggs, too much wine. Spent a long time skyping with my daughter in Australia last night, makes me miss her even more when I see her face. Hate hate hate holidays with kids missing. Makes me feel like swiss cheese.

Didn't sleep well last night, probably too many eggs, too much wine, too much screen time, not enough kids. Does a number on my tummy and my brain. Up early in the quiet sipping coffee.

Plan for the day:
Go to the liberal church that likes women and hear some good music.
Have a lovely dinner with my remaining family (DH & DS): eggplant lasagna, huge gorgeous artichoke, more wine, cheesecake with berry compote on top. Not sure about other meals but I have lots of veggies and hopefully won't get into too much trouble.
Maybe find a nice movie we can watch and enjoy together.

Ate most of the chocolate yesterday, so not much more damage I can do there
Hope everyone is enjoying their holiday weekend. We pay for the damage next week!

Also feeling like Swiss Cheese. I think it's the world's best kept secret that when you have multiple kids that they could actually live hours away from each other. No matter where I am, there is always someone missing. :|

I've decided to keep myself busy by going to work. Go figure, my boss thought that'd be a good idea too as she scheduled me. LOL Go put your face in the sun. I find it helps. ;)

Sun has gone away, but I put on my bright pink shirt and earrings and a colorful mohair sweater to keep warm and still look like it might be spring. Michelle, working on Easter also sucks but if it fills one of the holes, I guess it's a good thing. I have little hope of getting my family all in one place until at least Christmas, when my daughter swears she will be here. She didn't like being in another hemisphere this year. She may be back, but my youngest is determined to go off for a year to Japan and teach there after he graduates, so I'd better find a good job so I can save money or go work for the airlines.

I'm sticking to my food plan so far today. Had a nice veggie and lf havarti omelet for breakfast. Had a half cup of coffee at church and ignored all the cakes, deviled eggs, chocolate, and even the fruit (since I knew the sugar would set me off). Time to go trim my artichokes and see if I can pressure cook them in 30 min. or less. No morning snack, so I can have maybe a slice of bread dipped in EVOO and will enjoy my cheesecake. One malted milk egg so far. I really did buy them for my son

I volunteer to go around and get the malt ball total for the whole board tomorrow. I didn't have any but I feel responsible for talking about them

I lost count on the malted milk eggs, Bethy! But I didn't really buy them 'cause of you. My son likes them and all things chocolate, never liked the other pastel sugary treats like jelly beans and peeps (daughter loves those!) so I always get malted milk eggs for him. But he left a handful in the dish, so I may be in trouble today!

Spent a lot of time skyping with kiddos this weekend. Skype is so amazing. I remember 5th grade sitting in a booth at the Bell Telephone exhibit at the NY World's Fair trying out video phones. But to actually talk to someone in the opposite hemisphere and see and hear them loud and clear is like a miracle to me. We don't get to skype very often since she sold her computer before moving so we can only manage just chatting most of the time. Seeing her is such a treat. I don't know how I'd stand it otherwise. And when I Skype with my son at college, it's like he's just sitting in the living room with us. Love Skype!

Today is recovery day. Yoga stretching is a must since I literally creaked out of bed. I've been sitting on my butt for 3 days, not a good thing. Plus I ate bread yesterday, hot and dipped in olive oil, yum! But instant bloating!!!  How can it do that!!?? Just my cheesecake for my evening meal - it did have berries on top, so that counts for something

Today's plan:
Hide the rest of the eggs. Putting them next to my son's computer in the other end of the house. Now. Check!
Half the small cheesecake is still here. That may be a problem tonight. If I can last through today, maybe my son and husband will finish it.
Veggies veggies veggies.....veggies
Yogurt to settle my tummy.
Leftover eggplant lasagna for lunch.
Pork tenderloin defrosting for dinner. Asparagus and yam. Yum!

Did fine with food today until my husband took the cheesecake out of the fridge. I had a sliver, but it's all gone now, thank goodness. The guys did me a big favor and ate the rest  One chocolate egg left and those yucky licorice jelly beans, so I'm fairly safe now.

Yoga stretches felt wonderful today, but they didn't help my indigestion or headache. Must be stress. Taxes are a pain in my various body parts

Tomorrow's plan is to be out all day - interview with a temp agency in the morning, class in the evening. Will spend the rest of the day shopping and sitting in an internet cafe. Leaving the guys leftover lasagna (which also needs to disappear). I may end up at Wendy's with salad or chili. Will try not to stop for pizza.

Looooooonnnnnnnng day today. Having some wine and a snack to recover. Interview went OK, should be placed in a temp job soon. Packed my lunch, ate dinner at Wendy's, hung out at an internet cafe, shopped, and had my computer class until 9:10. Glad the cheesecake is gone because I'd be eating it right now if there was any left!!!

No exercise today, other than walking through stores.
B: veggie omelet
L: meat/cheese rollups, snap peas, banana and yogurt
D: Wendy's chicken apple pecan salad, lemonade (a splurge, but I was dehydrating and needed something besides another cup of coffee).
S: nuts, triscuits/lf cheddar

"Slack jawed wonder" is the only way i know to describe my reaction to the fact that you can eat a few Triscuits and just..walk away.
I am so tempted to try it myself.

It helps when it's the bottom of the box and there are only 3 whole ones and 4 broken ones left, lol! I have been known to eat too many and they really blow up the tummy, not a feeling I like very much. So I do try and put them on a plate and eat like a human being instead of taking the box with me when I sit down. If I do that, I WILL mindlessly eat the entire box. I don't think it's so dangerous except for the bloating, unless it triggers me to eat a box of Ritz or start in on something worse.

I think you've stumbled upon a GREAT business idea! Let's start selling nearly empty boxes of crackers! It it takes off, we can expand the product line to nearly empty boxes of Capn Crunch, practically dry bottles of wine, and (gasp) a large bag with 2 malted mik eggs in it!

Chris, you are a genuine genius.

    I think that's the idea behind all those 200 calorie snacks that are being marketed now. Tiny bags of tiny Oreos just don't do anything for me. I think the idea is that if you eat more than one package, you start to feel guilty about all the packaging wasted or something. But I like your idea of packaging multiple kinds of snacks together: salty, sweet, and a half glass of wine. SB friendly lunchables!!
