I restarted trying to lose weight last week. I started at 151lb and now I am at 148, my very starting point when I did SB in 2009, unbelievable!
Anyway, this time I am trying a new strategy: an armband that measures your calorie burn and thanks to a journal I calculate how much I eat and by having a balance of -500 cals/day you should lose 1lb/week. My idea is to focus on SB food like a phase 2 plan but less strict and it is working really well for me. I am eating pretty healthy, and I don't feel hungry. I have not exercised much and still managed to have a deficit of 500-900cals/day last week. I guess that is the only advantage of being fat: you burn more calories as you move all that bulk
Anyway, I hope you decide to start again, hopefully with your DH too and we can motivate each other. I will be thinking of you and sending you good vibes for a complete recovery of that stubborn foot and for no more pain!
