I'd like to place an order.
Yes, Delivery.
I'd like the broccoli, roasted. with olive oil, the good olive oil. With parm.
No, not the pizza, just the broccoli.
No, not small. ALL. All of it.
Do you have any cauliflower? oh
Do you have any asparagus? oh um
You have spinach!
Ok, send that. No, just raw.
No wait. raw with mushrooms! Right.
No, no dressing. No croutons, No cheese.
You could pull the stems off, though. No, I know, just kidding.
What is the biggest size you have?
What is the biggest clean container you have?
Pepperoni comes in a bucket? That'll be fine, brilliant. Is that turkey pepperoni? oh
Two buckets: one broccoli, olive oil, parm, roasted. one spinach mushroom raw. Great!
30 MINUTES?
I am a Heavy tipper. very.
No, not a party. Just me.
It's....I'm on Phase 1.
It's a....thing. Kind of a vegetable marathon, only you're too tired to go get them or...anything.
No, I def don't want the garlic knots.
No, no 2 Liter.
I understand. It's free. I just
...kinda don't.... want it...exactly. You keep it.
But, hey, Thanks. Thanks very much. You too. Bye

....dragged my butt around two grocery store AND forgot the fage. But that's okay because I am MARRIED

Speaking of grocery stores what is wrong with me why I have to go to so many of them? I go to 4 regular ones, I mostly produce one, a little one with good meat, a mediterranean one, a health one, a funny discount one that has certain things HE needs, and one Just for olive oil. I have been known to drive 63 miles to Costco. I go to Sam's club too. Oh, and walmart because Goody Powders are unknown everywhere else up here. I need them for fast relief from the headache I get grocery shopping. (almost went off on a walmart tangent, but sucked it up.) And I order regularly from two places in NY. (which is only 1hr 45 minutes on the bus, and 145 lbs of food in the tote bag coming back) What is WRONG with me?

I'm whining about this because even after my good shopping job yesterday I now need to go get more chicken for the chili. My husband can do many things including fage but he can't do this because he has meat blindness and will come back and tell me they didn't have any.(tangent coming right up about him) Naturellement, the close Wegmans where I went yesterday just carries ground chicken. The one 10 miles away has ground chicken Breast. (I Want My Breast! Kyan, I'm looking at you  ) And before someone says it: I asked FOUR TIMES: once in a wheelchair, once on crutches, once on my feet with a come hither look in my eye, once on my knees with the pre-cry chin tremor. They ain't stocking it.

I was fixing to start on my husband tangent just now when my husband sent me on an actual tangent. He couldn't find the dog food. Nudge, nudge. Say no
more.

I had a point. My point was: if WOE's were ranked by shopping complicatedness, do y'all think SB would win? Or is it just me?

Oh bethy, tell me about it! Ok, actually you may find if you read more of my journal, I have a complete and total love affair with grocery shopping. I do couponing and I shop on a weekly basis at a number of stores: Albertson's, Safeway, RiteAid are virtually every single week, often in multiple. I also hit QFC, Top Foods, Target, Walmart and Walgreen's anywhere from once to 10 times a month depending on the sales. Good thing is that I have found it possible to do couponing for this WOE and still save ridiculous amounts of money.

Also. You are hilarious. Will you be my new BFF?

Phase 1 round 3 day...12 or 13...

The reason I can't figure out what day i'm on is every time I start to think about it, I start thinking about Time. I start thinking about block theory and tenselessness and whether it's the day I started or the day I end p1 that's unreal. And if any of the statements we're all making about when we were on SB Before have any meaning or is our future contingent on the tenseness of our so-called past. But anyway.
b- egg fritatta, v-8
s-milk
L-too late for lunch, had to rush, whole glass of milk
s-Double Vat of roasted kale leftovers, srsly, about half a pound uncooked weight.
D (which I call S)- new chili w/ beans and chicken, fage
s-probably celery and cashew butter. first time for me on the cashew butter.

Exercise- blue ribbon. went back to the pool. weak as a kitten. cramps all over. stayed in the water 45 minutes and kept moving but SLOWLY. Best part was: totally happy to be back. Going back Wed. If I don't KICK MY ASS please.
flu-mild, very mild, nothing but a little fatigue.

I was drinking that glass of milk (which I don't like. I did it because I needed some quick fuel for the puel) for lunch and it made me think about when I was a child. I didn't get to like all my food. When do we start eating only those things that we really like?

I am REALLY enjoying you too. Feel like I'm PESTERING you. Before you come a'hauntin...think back around about the middle of your journal. You went to B&N late at night b/c you'd finished the first volume of a trilogy and needed more. They didn't have volume 2 so you had to get volume 3. Remember? What was that first volume that sent you out into the night? I'd turn around and come back for a good read.
I'll probably stick around though. I stuck 2 years on SB last time and this board is a Right Bobbydazzler of a procrastination technique. Plus, I don't want any more of my books to have orange fingerprints on the pages. I can see my kids, dividing up the books when I'm gone: "This one's mine", "Nuh-uh, it was Mom's. SEE?", "Well, THAT one's mine. That's my tootsie roll wrapper.", "Dude. It's MOM'S, that wrapper is ancient and the whole last half 's got Goldfish crumbs, GYAH." " What is THIS??" "Ew what IS that and it smells" simultaneously "Parmesan Popcorn". "Gimmee that, I'm keeping it it smells like MOM."
I've never been to Colorado, closest I've come is my daughter Almost moved to Denver. I do know that the Colorado Rockies had the only decent uniform of their whole expansion team generation. My husband is a huge Braves fan. And I like it, because Baseball's the only sport (except Golf, which is mandatory where I come from) that you can watch and read a book at the same time. I remember the Rockies first game at Mile High Stadium and the announcers going on and on about the altitude and the oxygen and I was all "Let's talk about those uniforms". The Marlins started at the same time and they had nauseating uniforms. They must have been SO humiliated when they saw the rockies ones. But the Rockies got it right (right off the bat..giggle) so I always think of Coloradoans as Stylish and Tasteful. (and people from FL...JEFF...are all obv Garish and Tacky)

OMG, have you been peeking at my BOOKS? They ALL have stains! All of the Harry Potter books (and Twilight) have chocolate smears from where I ate strawberries dipped in melted chocolate chips. Even more horrifying - I just returned a book to my son-in-law that he hadn't even READ yet - and I noticed a stain on it that had dribbled onto the side edges of the pages! Ack! Luckily it was a faint stain..... maybe he didn't notice. :?

If you look at the journals... TONS and TONS of people show up here on the forum and start a journal... write a bit.. and then toodle off into the sunset with a tub of ice cream under one arm and a platter of chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes under the other. It's really sad!

Sometimes a keeper comes along... and it is my God-given duty to hound them until they return to the Beach. It never works... but I still have a couple of people I send P.M.s (private messages) to now and then.

So plant your butt - yer stayin' !
