On and off I have worked retail through the years. I was a stay at home Mom for 17 years, so I guess retail is my lot in life. I'm not complaining.

I do not understand the whole Black Friday thing. I would be at home cooking or cleaning or something.

At least I don't have the store opening shift. But I am in for the second wave of 8 - 1 door busters.

I hope I survive.

Dinner was wonderful yesterday. Food was awesome. Allergy daughter had fun cooking for herself without interruption.

Ya'll have a good day.

Jan 1, did fairly well until that pizza in the frig called my name about 6 pm. Ate one piece then sat down and slept for an hour.

Jan 2. That's 1-2-12 (LOL) Did VERY well. Took a salad for dinner at work tonight. When I came home, I had some boiled ham and Dijon mustard. The mustard upset my tummy  so I had to deal with that. I had some lo fat motz cheese with just a handful of corn tortilla chips. That helped my tummy. SF Jello and SF Cool Whip for desert. Glass of water and I'm off to bed.

(I am looking forward to my Canadian Bacon with my RF Feta cheese omelet in the morning)

Hope anyone reading this is doing well.

I know I'm only on Day 3. I just ate my breakfast. Yummy Yummy. Feeling pretty good about it and myself. :D
I only wish I liked more veggies.
It's only 3 degrees here today. Love my NorthWoods winter !! More snow is needed.

B

I really need to figure out more snacks. I've had a cheese stick and some boiled ham. Drinking a glass of water too (that's before I'll have my coffee).

:)

I had a nice salad for lunch. Cheese stick and V8 for a snack. Lovely salad, stir fry chicken w fresh ginger and some green beans for dinner.
I feel tired, not from loss of calories alone, work stress and lack of sleep too. I will not let work stress foul up this endeavor.
I can see a slight difference in my face already.

I am keeping a written journal of food intake. If I stall out I may post foods eaten here.
It's my snacking that always gets me into trouble.
All for this evening.

I hope you are all doing well.

Its been a slow process, a little over 2 years now! But it's been worth it. I still have 25 maybe 30 pounds to go of weight loss in my eyes. I hadnt been to 230-235 since middle school (Sad i know) and ive grown taller and more muscular since then so im really in the dark about how far to go. Im very happy i can provide a bit of motivation for you, You'll do great im sure of it!

It always takes longer to get off than put on. I am so determined to not be 60 and this weight.

I did something different for breakfast. I cut up to Veggie Quiches and heated them up with my V8. OK, so I added some LF motz cheese, but it was pretty tasty.

Next time I'll cut the motz. LOL

Later,
B

Why is it that trying to eat healthy can upset the tummy? :(

Well, kind of blew it with tummy issues. I had a bowl of baked veggies with rf feta that did not set well. I didn't blow it with pizza or ice cream or whatever else could have sounded good to cheat with. Just stuff to make my tummy feel better.

Tomorrow is a new day.

Waking up late today. I'm thinking egg omelet with Canadian Bacon and RF Feta cheese. Zucchini anyone? My puppy, Ellie, is still asleep so I'd like to be quiet for a while longer.
There is a reason that I am overweight. I don't really like a wide range of veggies. But I love pizza. I did throw the ice cream out in the trash last night.

Hubby Person's nurse called again yesterday. That is the third time they have called. They want him to come in for diabetic education. Problem is he doesn't want to go, he knows what he needs to do. Whole family has type 2 and he is extremely overweight. We have been together for over 10 years now. No matter what I fix for food, he just eats what he wants (he also sneaks food - stopping for a candy bar on the way home from work - things like that).

Oh, well, I'm doing this FOR ME !!!!!

B

Good SB breakfast. Made a batch of chicken stir fry with w. chestnuts and fresh ginger for "work" salads. Having some 2% Lfat cottage cheese for a snack.

I'm OK with this, but I know that temptation (of my own and hubby person) will sneak in. I do want to be strong.

B

Yummy Stir Fry. Dinner for work ready to go. So I shall go as well.
