I've done the reading, I've purchased the grocery's and cleaned out the kitchen. Tomorrow morning I begin this new chapter of my life. I have high expectations. Not for quick results, not for this to be an easy transition and not for record breaking weight loss, but for true change.

Welcome to the Beach! Kuki is starting tomorrow too and she is SO nice - it would be great if you two could be Beach buddies and help each other along since you are starting the same day!

It's been an incredibly stressful Monday! I am proud of myself though. Usually when I get stressed and upset, I eat. I run for the nearest bag of chips and devour them....I eat my emotions. Today was different. I didn't dine on my emotions. I expressed them. I may have shocked a few people when I actually raised my voice, but the problem got resolved and I didn't gorge on unhealthy food. I'd say that's a win!
Snack: 1/4 Cup Pecans
20 ounces water
Lunch: 1 pork chop
1 cup bean salad with roasted red peppers & onion
20 ounces water

WOW Hooray for you!, on two fronts, dealing with the cause of your stress, and not giving in to the need to comfort yourself with unheathy food.

Hi there and welcome to the beach, im Jeff, ill be your designated pain in the butt as you walk on the beach but ill also be sure to give you plenty of motivation and help whenever i can! Its great to have you here and you're doing a wonderful job so far, one step at a time. Good for you raising your voice a bit, i know how stress can sometimes lead to poor decisions especially in regards to healthy eating. Its wonderful meeting you and hope to talk more soon
