I am male, 6ft tall. Should weigh 180 lbs. When I got up over 200 lbs a few years ago, a low-carbed it for a while and got down to 175 lbs. The weight has slowly returned over the past 5 years...got up to 204 lbs. I have done 3 weeks of phase one. Week one was great...lost exactly 10 lbs. Week two...lost 2.5 lbs. Week three...didn't lose any! I have been totally adherent to the plan in weeks 2 and 3! What happened? Any suggestions appreciated!

Hey there I am in the same boat as you, I am in the same weight range as well and I am totally feeling the same way. Almost done week 2 and only lost an initial 4lbs in the first week and then plateaued and the scale has not moved a millimetre. I am starting to wonder if this diet gives quick significant results of 8-12lbs only if you are obese. I started at 194 and I am at 190 and will not move from there at all. I don't want to leave Phase 1 if we can't lose any on Phase 1 how is Phase 2 going to work?
Sorry I have nothing to offer just venting...I guess.

P2 is a long term phase and more for weight loss. P1 is just to remove your cravings. Please move on to P2, you will be very satisfied with the results. Otherwise you're not following this way of eating and you will not be successful. Best of luck.
Back again! I missed you all!

I totally agree-- it's time to move to p2. Extra time in p1 usually does not result in extra weight loss-- usually the opposite.
"Hitting a wall after week 1" is also really common. It has to do with readily available water weight loss.
