Well, you know you always motivate me, Maureen, so I'm happy to know the inspiration is reciprocated! However, if you want to stay inspired, don't read what I'm about to say.
I totally bungled everything on Friday. I was home with my 12yo and she wanted to make carmel popcorn. It's one of my favorite things and I should have known I couldn't resist. We made a lot and I ate most of it plus some other crap. I felt so woozy and tired all day yesterday and it was tempting to just say What the heck and eat whatever I wanted, but I didn't. So, a small yay for me there. I ate lots of salads and a plain hamburger ( my first serving of meat in at least a month) in hopes of dowsing the cravings. It didn't work, but luckily my will power was strong. I ate well and even skipped my Saturday night wine.
But still the scale made an ugly face at me this morning: 143.8. It's probably temporary and hopefully I'll earn that 140 back by next week.
