Abbey, I hear you on the popcorn. It just drives me crazy when I walk into Walmart and that smell justs envelopes me and carries me away. That is the ONE THING I would not be able to handle. I know we can have the plain microwave popcorn, but, duh, that does nothing for me. So far I have been able to resist Walmart's popcorn and it is hard, believe me. The only reason I think I am able to resist is to know how it will affect me afterwards. I have to concentrate on thoughts of not having any more sugar spikes and hypoglycemic attacks or the cravings and that gets me past it. But oh, that aroma; it should be illegal to have popped corn in a store.
The movies will be another challenge. But I think I will bring some cheese, vegetable and peanut snacks in the huge purse along with black cherry flavored selzter (which is quite good). My purse may look a little heavy when I go in, but, what the hey! If I paid for my ticket, I'm allowed to have my snacks. If the theatre doesn't like it, then they should be selling healthier snacks instead of all that junkfood!
Hang in there, you're doing real good!
