I am so happy today. Had a very important exam at school and got 100% :shock: , I am so HAPPY!!! :D :D I am celebrating, eating celery with hummus and nuts :lol: :lol: , so happy today.

Here I am again. Been following SB really well with no success yet :( Started P1 today following my doctor's advice. I will not give up, been fighting this weight for a while but I will keep going.
So far so good.

Exercise (done): 1hr. cardio + 45 min. weight training :D
Menu:

B: 2 eggs with red peppers, onions and cilantro, 1/3 cup of red beans, 1 cup of broccoli and cabbage sauteed in olive oil. Water.
S: 15 almonds + piece of lean turkey+ water
L: Grilled chicken with rosemary and other herbs, 1/3 cup of red beans, salad of lettuce, cucumbers, radishes, + 2 cups of broiled zucchini + water
S: cucumbers + red peppers+ piece of lean turkey + water
D: broiled salmon, + 2 cups of green beans (with some olive oil) + salad of lettuce, tomatoes, radishes, cucumbers + water
If hungry: 1 SF Popsicle + water

Have a very important exam today in the morning. Feel good with lots of energy. Already went to the gym and did cardio. Been busy with lots of exams going on. Friday another big one. Oh well. this is school. The heat is driving me crazy. Sweating all the time.

This is the plan for today:

Exercise: 1hr. cardio (done) No weight training (rest)
Menu:
B: 2 eggs with broccoli+peppers+green onions+ chicken+ 1/2 cup of zucchini + water
S: 1 LF string cheese + radishes + water
L: 1 1/2 cup of green beans (w/olive oil)+ broiled salmon+ salad of lettuce+cucumbers+radishes+cilantro + 1T of salad dressing + water + 1 diet coke
S: 15 almonds + piece of chicken+ celery + water
D: broiled salmon w/ lemon wedges, rosemary and Italian seasoning +1/3 cup of red beans + 1/2 cup of green beans + cucumbers + tomatoes + water
S: SF Popsicle + water

Lots of water!! :wink:

Doing good on P1. Went to zumba class today and it was great, as always. I can not believe that my kids go back to school at the end of August, that is so soon. I have not enjoyed them much since I am taking classes this summer :( , but I am sure we will have more other opportunities to have fun. I am getting straight A+ at school so far, hard work, but worthy, I am really happy with the outcomes. I have been making different meals lately, and experimenting with different recipes from the recipe section, never paid that much attention before to this section, but now I am truly enjoying it. Chao :D

Well, this is my second week of P1, I feel really energetic and optimistic. Working really hard at the gym, hopefully it will start to pay off soon. Chao! I am posting on P1 thread!

Started P2 yesterday. Lost 4.6 pounds on P1. I am very happy with that. My work-outs are insane. I am definitely sweating my b...., but I will do whatever it takes to shed off these extra pounds. Feel great, really energetic and motivated. Chao!

Yesterday was my last day of the first week of P2, and I am very happy to say that I lost 3.2 more pounds. I am THRILLED. I feel strong and determined to gain this battle, because that is what it has been, a battle. My personal trainer is doing an awesome job with my work-out routines , incorporating different things to make it more exciting. I feel great. This week, following my doctor and nutritionist's orders, instead of having a grain and a fruit, I am having just a fruit, the idea is not to retain more water, because I have retained enough, so I have to watch it. I am very confident that this time it will work.

Great Job GF..Yahoo!!!! you're working it (high-five)..great idea to take those grains S.L.O.W.L.Y.and eventually you'll find one that works for you.
pfft..I fought with popcorn for months but I'm not scared of it any more once i learned how to eat it.not ready to tackle Bread.( i will later) I've never been a big bread fan,so i can do w/o that.Have worked in my whole wheat crackers though :wink: keep on keeping on :)
