Don't you love visiting old friends? My friends and I try to clear an evening every few months just to get together and spend a few hours laughing.

I sure do, Christin. With graduation we have the opportunity to stay with my daughter and her husband and see friends from school. so good!

Made chili last night and will have some for breakfast. My daughter got her CSA box of food last night. Everything looks wonderful - so fresh! If—hopefully when—my DH and I move to the country, we want to have a garden and grow our own. In AZ our yard is just rocks and gravel!

My CSA starts next Friday - I cannot wait!! I know it will be mostly greens and some radishes for a while, but I'm excited. Our farmers are this very sweet couple, and they have all these young kids working with them as apprentices. I love it!

One week ago I was walking the stage - woot woot! It's been so wonderful spending time with family and friends - a lot is revolving around food.

I have been living the P3 lifestyle! (teriyaki chicken breast, a bit of rice, tempura green beans, Gk yogurt with sugar and honey added, choc covered raisins). :? But, I don't want to go there yet, so back on the P2 plan. I will need to make changes next time at the store: make sure I buy the old Greek yogurt I was eating, not the one with some sugar and honey. Get more apples and blueberries to go with the yogurt or with my cottage cheese. Get more veggies. Right now I feel overly full; I was hungry a few minutes ago, had my snack, and think I overdid it....

Exercise has been intermittent: I have done quite a bit of waking a few days, but nothing the rest of the time.

Today:
B: ground turkey, a couple slices of teriyaki chicken, snap peas, carrots, lf soy milk
L: salad w/ dsg, carrots, chili w/ cheese
S: Gk yogurt (w/ sugar and honey), lf cottage cheese, 12 choc chips

Have a happy P2 week on SB Grace! I'm sure you'll get right on the P2 track now that all the celebrating is over.

Thanks for your encouragement, Lisa! We are still visiting family, so there are definitely choices to make.

I'm working on that P2. A step forward and one or two back. Got the right kind of Greek yogurt without the sugar and honey. Got more veggies and beans for chili. They had a kind of fat free milk at the store with vitamins and plant sterols added. I looked at the label for more info and it includes corn syrup!!! :x Yuck - I'll take my regular skim milk, thank you very much!!!

Today:
B: egg, turkey sausage, snap peas, lf soy milk, small piece of rhubarb-strawberry pie. My daughter is an excellent cook!
L: chili w/ cheese, carrots, snap peas
S: mixed the rest of the sugary yogurt w/ the regular Greek yogurt, blueberries, 8 choc chips, ff milk

So, now I feel puffy again! Finished off the batch of chili to be able to wash the container. Not enough portion control! Keep going; I can do this! The right stuff is in the kitchen :)

I find when I get the right stuff in my house, and lots of it with different choices, then it's easy. I don't make excuses as to why I'm not eating SB. It's when I fail to plan and find myself without my black bean brownies, or my salads, that I get into trouble. Sounds like you're doing great!! Me too!!

okay - get to it! Shopping with DD was fun! Got some new items to perk up my wardrobe. I never tried "skinny" jeans till today - woot woot :D

I am working to get back to P2 SB friendly food.

Today:
B: chili w/ cheese, carrots, green beans
L: salad w/ chicken, apples, goat cheese, dsg; iced tea

here's the rest of the plan:
S: Greek yogurt, sfff lemon jello, blueberries
D: green beans; spinach pasta (small portion); tomato sauce w/ ground beef, pepper, shallot, black olives
S: cottage cheese, 1/2 apple, PB or something else that's SB

Grace, you are so motivating to me....Wow, skinny jeans!!! Go you! I had a rough week last week but I am back on too. I feel so gross when I am off plan. Hope we all have a really good sb week despite the holiday coming up and lots of family. It makes it so much harder when everything revolves around meal times with lots of people but it can be fun and still doable if we don't over do it! Enjoy your week!
