Hi onaMi,

Just stopped in your journal to give you a quick Hello! You are doing great! I sometimes think about how much weight you have lost...right now you have lost right around what I weigh. You really have lost "a person." That is so amazing and in the process you have found a new person in yourself. You are so strong now! Just keep being the "new you" everyday and you will soar!

Take care,
Mary Ann

Thanks Mary Ann (xo)..

Had a rude awakening today..

Saw a lady on the track this Morning that i hadn't seen since last summer. She had gain so much weight(about 60 lbs)At first i thought she was pregnant, she looked so old, i was shame to look at her really :( I told her that it won't take long for her to lose it(only after she had mention her weight first) and other words of encouragement but seeing her scared me silly.(i started to jog faster)She told me that she thought that was me but that i was half the size she remembered.

I know the same thing can happen to me.I don't want to gain my weight back  I must never forget how easy it is to gain this weight back and always remember how i got where i am today, use the tools i have ,keep adjusting/ living my new lifestyle and always stay aware about/of what i put in my mouth. I'm gonna fight the rest of my life to keep every lb off.I like me now.

Everyday is not gonna be perfect,I know I'm in control of what goes in my mouth but i also know that i can't have a lot of something around me that is fattening or healthy that's sweet cause I'd eat it all  like last weekend, when i made 2.. yes 2 Black Bean cakes and had cool whip for the top :P (made 2 thinking i could proportion pieces out for other days but nope.. didn't work ) man, were they good but i ate too many  ) had to throw a lot of it away  (that's the first time I've had something that i just couldn't stop eating since I've been on this journey ) it caused me to gain 2 lbs and boy did i have to work hard to get those off.which set me back in the weigh lost department..man did i learn something.

I don't want to work hard to lose weight that I've already lost. I work hard enough to get weight off that I've been caring around for years..at least ,for me,my mentality of losing 1 or 2 lbs I gained after i get to goal would be better but to keep gaining and losing the same lbs and not to goal yet just seems like I'm going no where

Anyway..

I'm Back in stride and moving on..have incorporated Zumba into my workout routine and love it.WI @ 185.6 today! :)

Onami, you just keep doing great as always. Welcome to the Zumba world. I love Zumba, is my favorite. I hate missing a Zumba class, sometimes I do it because of school, buy if I could do Zumba everyday I would.

Hi GF,thanks for stopping by(x)..yeah..I'm hooked on Zumba too :) I'd go everyday too if my place had it but I'll do with 2 times a week for now.Plus we have Zumba Parties twice a month (straight zumba for a hour, not the usual format) and they're fun.

Well, I've come to terms with the fact that my weight loss has slowed down.I'm gonna keep on working/stay the course and keep enjoying my new lifestyle! WI today @ 186.0! Up .4 since my last post...I know that I'm doing all i can everyday to move this fat and it'll get tired sooner or later and some will just give up the fight..sigh..

 Wait a minute..seems like I've posted this same thing awhile back..weight loss slowing down  ...and by George!!! i got past that time and I will get past this one too 8)

Battled through!!! weathered the storm!!!..Had to changed everything around..exercise routine, times i would exercise, what i eat and definitely eating more.... WI @ 184.0 today!!! :P

Joined a gym !!!.Curves wasn't doing it anymore.I hated to leave, wished i could go to both but...they were so nice to me and have been with me through most of my weight loss. :(

But I must move on to bigger and better things.I love the gym.today was my second day.I felt so out of my league but everyday will get better and better.

They offer so many class i can take, yoga, kickboxing and Zumba everyday. They're open 24 hours and right around the corner from me.

Felt so flabby compared to some of those ladies. I'm at the place i need to be now and things are going to be ok.I see my trainer tomorrow morning, excited about that.

Played 5 games of tennis the other day!!! :P passed by the courts, saw some people playing and asked could i hit with them.It was so much fun.I really missed playing.I'm gonna go back often, hoping that i get to play again..Later I'm gonna joined a club.

Had my measurements done last Monday.Stats since January..

6' off bust!
5.5' off m waist!
5.5' off abdomen
.75 off hips
1.5' off arms
Body fat went down from 44.3 to 27.5 :P
BMI 30.4

Feel good about where i am.I'm doing things now that i used to pay other people to do.The other day..i racked some leaves, cleaned off the deck and Washed down the Jacuzzi. Just feels like I've started to live.

Now I'm buying more linen, cotton clothes and I ironed them myself. this is huge cause i always bought stretch or knitted items cause 1)i could always find my size in those fabrics 2) those fabrics made me look smaller.

Lord Willing..Wish i could reach Goal by Mothers 87th Birthday July 30!!.. gonna give it all I've got!!!

Hi OnaMi! You are doing so great and have such a wonderful attitude and way of thinking. I definitely think that you could handle the TRX class at your gym because you kind of go at your own pace. I did it on Friday and I can still feel the soreness this Tuesday morning! It is the best because my core is so sore and it didn't feel like I was even working it while the class was going on. :roll:You are sooooo close to the 170's!!! I can't wait for you to get there, you can do it and you will do it! Have a great week! :)
