It's finally spring here! T-shirt weather yesterday. I'm hoping for a few dry days so I can rake off my flower beds!

Back to beachy eating for me today. Many many indulgences this weekend. :D

thank you all for stopping in.........
I seem to be following my old pattern of ignoring my computer as soon as we start having some nice days............
I have been working 4 or 5 days a week and am not tolerating it well
This will stop by mid to late may, when I plan to cut back to 1 or 2 afternoons per week. I hate to give up this little job altogether. It truly is a good thing for me to be forced out of the house on winter mornings..... I like the little paychecks too.
I have been staying mostly beachy, but without my morning check in I can see a difference in meal planning, ( leads to impulse eating)
Hence, the whole wheat pizza over the week end......It WAS ww and lots of veggies , spinach, mushrooms, onion, lf cheese, but too much. I ate it late on a day that I forgot to take my brown bag to work, I didn't see a climb on the scale. I did divide it into 3 portions and put 2 in the freezer....Down near the bottom
Also I have been awful about keeping a daily log of what I have eaten the day before..... somedays yes..... somedays no
but as I remember It
Yesterdays menu.
S greek yogurt w/ blackberries and splenda..
L at work 2 links /green beans
D from freezer Chicken stuffed pablano 2 ( each on 2/3 ww tortilla) w sour cream yum......
Supper 2 med parsnips ( from garden) acorn squash from freezer, spinach, jello w/ fruit cocktail
S 5 small prunes
sf candies w/tea

Good morning! Isn't is beautiful lately? I have been spending hours on end out in the yard. Good for you to tuck your leftover pizza into the freezer. As a pizza addict, that is very hard to do. :D

Why do you blush at prunes? You are hilarious!

My M-I-L was just here visiting and we are trying to convince her to retire near us. We talked a lot about the importance of keeping some kind of job, even if it is part time or volunteer, because it is so important to have a place you have to be and something to achieve. It's great that you keep that kind of schedule, too! :D

Hope your job is going well...I can't imagine ever not working at all (but hope to cut back one day!)...I love the paychecks too!

How's the food? One thing that I do know is that journaling is the only thing that really keeps me on track.

Hope you are getting some good weather...

161 this morning
I have had a busy month.... but staying away from my journal has not been good for my beachy life.I am not up much ...yet...... but can see the slippery slope just ahead.......
McDonalds here... pizza there. Yoiks  anyone know how much added sugar in a pineapple mango smoothee?
I probably will not be a daily journaller throughout the summer but my goal is a weekly weigh in...... and at least three mornings accounting in my journal.
Spent the week after Easter caring for my 3 year old twin grands.so much fun... and I actually lost weight that week.
For the sumer I plan to do 2 or 3 days a week of p3 and the rest p2 and get back here regularly.....
Just loaded up my fridge and freezer w/ beachy goodies. Kroger has eggplant for $1. ea. am in the process of freezing some single portions to get by until my garden starts producing,
I am getting SUCH a late start with my little garden..... :(
Thanks to all who kept me bumped up

Glad you're back! We missed you!

I've also stockpiled some eggplant, since the price finally came back down. Our farmer's market opens today, so that's exciting!
My three young adult kids will all be home this summer, so I'll have a gang to feed again. I bought some stacking plastic bins for my big freezer so I can organize things a little better.

Enjoy your gardening!

Welcome back!! Ditto on the eggplant, just picked some up yesterday. I got a late start on my garden too, just put it in the ground a couple of days ago. But at least it is in the ground right? Have fun today!
