Yay!! You're back Wanda. You know I follow you around on FB and I knew about your new baby Whiz (adorable name), but I really miss you here on the board. It's been quieter lately so it's so nice to see your posts and catch up with you. Sounds like your whole family is in a good place. Congratulations to both your DH and DD. Way to go for them. And you, miss Career Lady!! 12 hours a day?? Are you sure about that? I hope it all works out for you. You sound like a dedicated employee. As far as the weight gain, well we all know what happens when we're out eating/drinking and not paying much attention. YOu'll get it off in no time for sure.

I'm having a rough time lately with weight gain and not being able to lose it. Definitely UP and feeling (and looking) it. Seems like whatever I do doesn't help. But this is your journal and you can read mine for the depressing details. So happy you're back!!!

Take care of you today and get in some good walks with Whiz. :lol:

Hey Lisa!! I've missed the boards to so have set me a reminder every other day so that I at least go in and document something. Sorry you're having some times too but know it to shall pass for you! Still in this together and in it to Win it 8)

So as you saw, the weekend didn't turn out the way I had hoped but I enjoyed myself and went to P2 this week. It's never a good time to do P1 but think it did kick start me eating on plan more. Took everything away last week and followed P1 until Saturday so hoping that at least a lb has dropped. If not will keep on keepin' on as I know this works when you work it 8)

This is our budget time and I'm a bit swamped so will close. Hoping you are all in a good place and walking the Beach with heads held high as We Are Winners :wink: 8) :D All my love.

Good idea to set a reminder for yourself. As soon as I start feeling fat and gross, I know that I need to get in here regularly and post my food intake. I'm way back on track with that in my journal and it's good. Did I tell you my DH hid my scale?? It's been over a week and I'm starting to go through withdrawal... maybe I'll go searching for it... I wonder if he threw it in the garbage? He won't admit that he took it when I ask him.... urghhhh! :roll:

As you can see, my reminder is working! I'm trying to find time to visit journals and will but trying to make sure I stay on track, as you all are familiar with. It's funny how coming in here makes you hold yourself accountable but so happy that it works.

We are closed for Good Friday so looking forward to having a day off. My BFF is coming over in the morning after she gets off work and we'll do breakfast. So excited as we don't get to spend lots of time together as she works nights and in a new relationship. DD will be home but DH has to work but will be a good day!

With that, i'm starting my weekend early so will sign off. Tomorrow I plan on hitting journals since I can seriously not work 8) All my love :D

Glad you're laughing at my DH! I'm kind of annoyed at him. :roll: I actually would really like it back, but then I think that maybe it's better this way. My clothes feel comfy and I'm feeling good in my skin... so if I got on the scale and it was the same or up, I'd be pissed! So it's better just not knowing... I guess.

Anyway, have a wonderful weekend and enjoy time with your BFF. That's so important! I plan on getting in a super fun Zumba class Monday morning. The rest of my 4 day weekend will be all about the family. :wink:

Hey Wanda! I just wanted to say THANK YOU today!! I saw your Facebook post this morning about Zumba and I realized I needed a FUN class TODAY (haven't been to the gym in over a week because of crazy busy plans every day)... so I looked up the gym schedule next to where I work, and saw there was a noon BodyCombat class. So I burned it over there and did the class with a smile on my face the whole time. Just made my day. Hope you're doing well!!

Hi Wanda, I LOVE when you post on FB 'it's time to misbehave'!! I know exactly what you're talking about. :mrgreen: (....for everyone who doesn't know, it's something Pitbull says a lot in his super fun workout songs that are played often in Zumba and other cool high cardio classes). Sounds like you're keeping active and healthy. Good job!
