Sat: slower walk with DH; still tossing H2O bottle

Sat food:
B: chili, 1/2 slice cheese, celery, ff milk
L: ground turkey, green beans, ranch
S: cottage cheese, oats, 1/2 apple

Sun food:
B: 1 egg, 1 turkey sausage, refried beans, green beans

Hope Monday starts the week off well for everybody!

hi Grace, welcome to SB and sounds like you're doing really well. Good for you. This really becomes a way of life and feels good to post in here and see how everyone is doing and get the support and encouragement. Such a great group of people here. Keep up the great work Grace!

Thanks Lisa! It feels pretty good most of the time. Especially since we have the support of so many veterans willing to share their stories and tips! :D

started the last chapter of my dissertation... don't think I would have the energy without SB eating...

I love your attitude and how you check in with everyone! I know what you mean about the vets--their tips and info are invaluable, and definitely a huge draw to this board. :D

love hearing from you guys!!!

Exercise: a few minutes on the treadmill... Went in for my stress test today; thought they would have me on the machine a lot longer :) Then a trip to Costco (more veggies and water) and to pick up my car at the shop. It's old and the starter was a real problem. Love my DH who kept worrying I would get stranded somewhere. aaahhh...

B: 1 egg, 1 sausage, snap peas, chick peas, lf soy milk
L: cottage cheese, oats, 1/2 apple
S: slice of turkey, carrots [ not enough veggies :( ]
D: chicken, veggie stirfry, huge salad w/ dsg, milk

S: will have a dessert yogurt (as Lisa puts it) with some berries, I think.

Keep going everyone! We can do this and be healthy!

You have one of my favorite snacks! Yogurt with pudding and berries. I stick mine in the freezer for an hour and make almost a chocolate mousse.
