Twins, wow! Glad you got some good grandma time with them!

It is nice when you can eat at home, especially when you eat the weird things we eat for breakfast! Only my sister, who is on SB, can deal with my black bean madness because I got her hooked on them, too. My other sister, who visits once in a while, has been doing WW for about 15 years and eats oatmeal for breakfast every morning, so at least that's easy.

Cheer up - at least you don't have snow to shovel right now. Notice those last two words - we had around 3" this week, just enough to have to go out and push around!

I'm not sure how much we've had. Portland (50 miles south) had 69" by the end of Feb - only stats I've been able to find. Average is supposed to be 66", but last year they only had 37". I don't believe those numbers since this is the most snow we've had in our town since we moved here 26 years ago. A few years ago there was over 90" and I'm pretty sure we've topped that. Usually we get wet snow, which really packs down, or freezing rain on top of the snow. Some years we get very little. This year we've had so much fluffy stuff that there really is no room to put it. I've never had to rake my roof before! And it's not over yet - we've had snow in April and May before.

Morning lakegran!

Glad you had fun visiting family in Chicago. I have wanted to visit the area for awhile now, but have not had the chance to yet. Hope today is sun, sand, and surf.

Sunday Menu
B 1 link egg/bean
L salad w/ chicken hb egg bacon
D fauxtato salad yum ..leftover soy sauce Chicken breast
S jello/cool whip, berries from freezer
S bran w/ milk

Crazy busy week
most days good SB days but .........I need the morning focus I get from DAILY journalling
walked outside 2 days...

I was p3 for almost 2 years and stayed at 163 ( hovered 161 /165 )
but I really.... really would like that hover point to be 160
I am about there right now but on p2
I will be a lot more active, beginning within the next 2 weeks..gardening / yard work..
I have 2 short flights of stairs to and from my happy little nest .....that alone helps .....with all the additional outside time.
50s and 60s this week..... I plan to harvest a short row of parsnips that overwintered ( I hope)
maybe some chives :)

Good morning!

Isn't it amazing how much more active we are when we have the garden and yard to tend? I have an old-fashioned push mower that I use twice a week during the warm seasons, very dependable work out. Good luck with the parsnips!

If this rain ever stops, I'll join you in the garden, Lakegran! We only have little piles of snow left, my daylilies and daffodils are poking their heads up, so I need to get out and rake. Spring is really coming after all!
