Ok So I have a real incentive now. My job just announced today that they are going to be conducting a “Build a Better You” Challenge. Over 12 weeks starting February 14, join a team of 5 to 11 of your colleagues to compete in up to three divisions: 1. physical exercise (minutes of exercise a min of 2 ½ hours a week), 2. pedometer steps (number of steps running or walking a min of 5,714 steps a day), and 3. weight loss (percentage of weight lost a min of 3% of your starting body weight). The Build a Better You Fitness Challenge website will help you form teams — locally or virtually — and record your progress. Even if you chose not to compete as part of a team, you can still take the challenge as an individual and use the website to track your progress. My department has already formed a team, I’m soooo excited! I wish it started this Monday and I didn’t have to wait a few weeks.

L: Chicken Breast Sandwich from Subway (Chicken Breast, 1 piece of cheese, spinach, bell pepper and 2 slices of cucumber) and then I had a salad with it instead of eating the chips that I wanted.
